Erielle’s POV

The past days were unexpected. It is not part of what I have planned. I don’t intend to spill out the truth but I guess it was destined to happen. The original plan was to come back in the Philippines just to visit mom and dad,  stay for a while and then go back to US afterwards.

But everything had changed just like a blink of an eye. My once upon a time happened. A dream that I keep on imagining when I’m asleep. A fairlytale that only happen on books where happy endings are real.

I’m not Cinderella nor Snow White or any other Disney Princesses I knew, but I’ve got my own prince. A knight in shining armor who will protect me with all his life. A man who would cross the ocean just to be with me. A man who would pick up all the stars at night just to wish all the best for me. A man who will love me to the moon and back.

I have Crius, the man of my life.

“Mommy, come on, wear this blindfold already.” Tale continue on forcing me to wear her folded handkerchief.

I'm glad to be back.

Crius told me that he never leave the house. He tried, but his soul is aching for the memories of it. He just couldn’t abandoned it.

Crius is very determined to make up with Tale. He wants her to feel how good a father’s love is. He even filed an indefinite leave just to be with us.

“It’s alright. Crius smirked on me.

“Daddy!”

“What, anak?” maang nito.

“Akala ko po ba surprise? Why did you say it loud po?”

Also, she doesn’t want to go with us. Kaya tayo na lang, anak. Are you good with that, huh?” He poked on Tale’s side making her to giggle.

“Its alright po! Let’s go, Daddy,  habang hindi pa mataas ang haring araw.”

I was frowning while watching them pack their things. Talagang iiwan nila ako?!

“Hey!” ani ko.

“We’re busy, Mommy.”

“No one, but your actions does.” Crius shrugged.

I heard my daughter laughed.

“You did that, Tale?” Crius asked her in amusement. “That was great! I bet your mom’s face was epic. Tama ba si Daddy, anak?”

“Yes po.” Tawa pa ng anak ko.

I mentally shook my head before I turned to the closet and get some clothes.

“How many days?!” I shouted.
