An Assassin's Rose: Remnant

Chapter 16: Welcome to Beacon

"Alright." Ruby said as she looks down in the cards in her hands.

Right now, Team RWBY and JNPR are in the library and were supposed to be studying but the only people that were doing that were Ren and Pyrrha.

And the others...well, Nora was sleeping, Jaune deiced to read a comic book and Team RWBY minus Damian are playing a board game and the reason Damian isn't playing is since he is giving Bruce, Alfred, and Dick a tour of Beacon.

She then looks at Yang with a smirk and points a finger at him. "Yang Xiao Long! Prepare your kingdom for battle!" she proclaimed.

"Bring it on!" Yang said confidentially.

"I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet!" the red hooded huntress exclaimed

Yang gasped in shock.

"Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!" Ruby declared as she makes noises like airplanes flying and bombing as she makes a bird with her hands

"You fiend!" Yang exclaimed.

Ruby giggles as she gets out of the chair and ducks her head down so you could only see half of her face. "And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time only last one turn."

"Aren't you supposed to be studying?" Damian asked as he walks over to his team.

"Hey, Dami. How did the tour go?" Ruby questioned.

"It went well, but unfortunately father received a call and had to cut our tour short. And they all send their love." Damian stated as he grabs an extra seat from a nearby table and sat down next to Ruby.

Ruby then smiles, "Welp sense you're here you can see me crush Yang." She said confidently.

And said blonde just laughed smugly, "Doubt it. I gotta admit though that was pretty sneaky sis." She stated as she pulls out a card and shows it.

"But you just activated my trap card!" she announced.

"WHAAAA!" Ruby exclaimed in shock once she noticed what card she had.

"Giant nevermore!" Yang exclaimed as she stood up and slammed her fist onto the table making the game pieces fall over.

"If I roll a seven or higher Fatal Feathers will slice your fleet in two!"

"But if you roll a six or a lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces!" Ruby stated as she gives the blonde a determined look.

Who just returned it, there was no way she was going to back out of this now. "That's a chance I'm willing to take." she replied.

Grabbing the dice Yang shakes it in her hand for 5 seconds before letting it roll and watched it as it rolled on 8.

"HAH!" Yang said triumphantly.

"NO! MY FEARLESS SOLIDERS!" Ruby cried miserably.

Yang shrugs her shoulders, "Eh, most of them were probably androids."

"Goodbye my friends...you will be avenged." She promised tearfully.

"Not until I draw my rewards! Which are double this round thanks to the Mistral Trade Route!" Yang said smugly as she began to take things from Ruby.

"Bah!" the red hooded huntress said in distaste.

"Oh, and what's this? The Smugglers of Wind Path?" Yang said smugly a she takes the card from her sister.

"Bah! Bah, I say!" Ruby exclaimed.

"I say, it looks like I'm taking two cards in my hand!" Yang stated as she takes said cards and throws away her sister's forces which narrowly missed Team JNPR except for one Nevermore piece that hit Jaune on the head.
