Amelia
Much to my dismay, Alice, Jasper, and Emmett insisted that I be taken to the hospital in the ambulance. Alice rides with me as Jasper and Emmett follow in the car.
"Can you tell me your full name?" the paramedic, Ron, asks as he checks my vitals.
"My name is Amelia Eloise Swan." I reply, wincing as the ambulance shakes violently.
"Do you know what happened?" he asks, watching my reaction.
"I was driving and I got hit." I furrow my brows, the moment coming back to me. Alice gently lays her hand on my shoulder.
By the time he finishes questioning me and taking my vitals we had arrived at the ER.
They unload me from the back of the ambulance quickly, Dr Cullen meeting them at the entrance.
"Amelia." he greets, his eyes flitting to his daughter.
The paramedic gives Dr Cullen all the information he had collected, Dr Cullen thanks him with a smile before his nurses take over wheeling me around.
"Have you called your father?" he asks, looking up from his clipboard as he writes something down.
"No." I shake my head with a grimace. Charlie is going to flip out.
"I'll have one of your nurses do that now. In the meantime I'm going to order a few tests. You have some obvious external injuries so I'll get started on those in just a moment." he explains before glancing at Alice who hadn't moved from beside me. He walks off to speak to a nurse.
"Jasper and Emmett are in the waiting room. They wouldn't let them come back." Alice says quietly. I think today is the first time I've ever seen her without a smile.
"Alice, what's wrong?" I squeeze her hand gently.
"I saw it." she says so quiet I could barely hear. I knew what she meant though.
"Oh. So it's you I have to thank for rescuing me." I smile up at her. She shakes her head.
"I hardly saw it in time. All I saw were the headlights and then it was blurry." she closes her eyes, sighing.
"Alice, I'm OK, see?" I gesture around at myself in an attempt to reassure her as Carlisle comes back.
"Alright. I've got those tests ordered and your father is on his way. He was very upset, he's in no state to drive, I nearly sent Alice to get him but he said there was someone there with him that could drive." Dr Cullen informs me.
"Oh god," my hand covers my face, "Billy and Jacob, they were coming over to watch the game." I let out yet another sigh, I had completely forgotten that they were coming over. Before Carlisle was finished with his examination of my injuries, the doors burst open, I could hear Charlie before I could see him. I close my eyes for a moment, preparing for the worst.
"Amelia? Amelia! Oh Jesus! Are you alright kiddo?" he comes running over, a nurse trailing behind him.
"Dr Cullen, how is she? What happened? Is she going to be OK?" Charlie rushes out as he nears us. Carlisle smiles patiently.
"Well Charlie, she has a few external injuries," Charlie's face turns red as he glances at me "I ordered some tests to check for anything internal. As soon as I'm done with this cut I'll have her taken up to those. But so far she's been completely responsive." he explains calmly, it seems to help calm Charlie.
"Amelia, oh kiddo. You...I..." he sighs a breath of relief as he looks me over.
"I'm alright dad." I grab his hand in an attempt to reassure him some, though I already knew that he would be tense until Carlisle could assure him that I'm perfectly fine.
