"So how was the rest of your day?" Bella asks as we walk towards the truck, she carefully avoids a puddle of water but I step in it, causing the water to splash around my ankles, I couldn't help but smile a little. She shakes her head at my actions.
"Alright. Turns out Emmett is in my pottery class. That's something I definitely didn't expect." I laugh a bit at the image of Emmett accidentally smushing his half made bowl
"Wait Emmett takes pottery?" her brows pull together in confusion. I nod, a slight laugh escaping my lips. I was glad he and I have a class together, he seems like a very laid back guy.
"I mean...that makes sense...I guess." she shrugs.
She unlocks the truck, tossing her bag in the seat before making her way over to speak to Edward. He was standing by his car, talking with Emmett and Rosalie. I lean against the truck, watching as she makes her way over to him, wanting to take a minute to observe the two of them together.
With a dramatic roll of her eyes, Rosalie gets in the car as soon as Bella is there, Emmett follows reluctantly. I wonder what that could be about. I watch as Bella and Edward speak, both of them seem to instinctively hold the other. Almost as if they were afraid the other would disappear right before their eyes.
"Hi there!"
My focus wavers as I glance towards the small girl who had spoken. Alice was standing a few feet away, a kind smile on her face as she makes her way over to stand beside me.
"Hey Alice." I greet her, my eyes shifting back towards my sister. It was odd, seeing her with a boy. She never dated at our old school, she rarely went out with friends, not that I was much different. We simply preferred home and each other over going out with kids that we didn't even really like all that much.
"Did the rest of your day go well?" she asks, leaning beside me, she watches them as well, a certain fondness in her eyes.
"It was alright, I got bored during my final period but it was OK." I shrug, there wasn't really much to my day after lunch.
"Aren't they just perfect together?" she sighs happily as Edward pulls Bella closer to his chest, their hands interlaced.
"They seem to be a good fit." Despite the fact that I had only met him that day, I could see how much he cared for my sister, Alice as well.
"So when did they become official?" I ask, my mind wanders to the phone calls where Bella told me that he had been actively avoiding her. A moment of silence passes as I wait for a response. I turn to look at Alice, only to see that she wore a vacant expression, her eyes staring into the distance blankly.
"Alice? Is everything alright?" I ask gently, softly touching her shoulder. Perhaps she had zoned out.
No response. Before I could think of what to do next, Edward was standing in front of us, Bella close behind.
"Alice, why don't we go home." he doesn't wait for a response, he just takes her arm and guides her to their car where Jasper was stood, holding her door open. I watched as he and Edward spoke briefly, Jasper's eyes flit over to mine, holding them for a brief moment before he looks back at his brother.
"Is she OK?" I ask Bella, concerned for the small girl.
"Oh yeah, that's nothing. She just zones out like that sometimes." she dismisses it, though she was biting her lip and avoiding my eyes. I don't believe her for a second.
"Then why did your boyfriend just whisk her away?" I narrow my eyes at her as we get in the truck.
"He's just protective. That's all." she explains shortly, shrugging her shoulders as if it really weren't that big of a deal.
"If you say so." I murmur, laying my head against the cold window. My thoughts wander for sometime, considering all the possibilities before they turn to Jasper. His curious eyes stare back at me as if he were standing right in front of me.

None of the Cullen's showed up to school for the rest of the week. Bella explains that their parents take them out of school to go camping whenever the weather is nice. We were eating dinner on the floor of the living room on Friday night when Bella clears her throat, pulling my attention away from the TV.
"Have you had any more of those dreams lately?" she tries to be casual, though the question came from nowhere.
"Yeah. Why?" I shrug, taking a bite of the spaghetti we made as I watch her response.
"What happened?" she asks after a pause, I could tell she was attempting to control her expressions.
"The usual." I reply vaguely. I don't understand why she's asking, I haven't mentioned anything lately.
"Why?" I shoot back quickly, noticing that she bites her lip before speaking.
"Just curious." she shrugs, her eyes avoiding mine as she bites her lip.
"We're any of them about the Cullen's?" she tries to come of as casual again, but I could see the tensing of her muscles and her lip biting from a mile away.
I merely shrug, not giving her anything more unless she tells me why. When she doesn't continue I move on.
"I heard that the weather should be back to normal tonight. Do you think your boyfriend is back yet." I waggle my eyebrows at her teasingly. She lets out a huff as she rolls her eyes, ignoring my question as she shoves a bite of spaghetti in her mouth.
"What, no answer?" I giggle at her childlike response. She still says nothing.
"That's alright, I guess I'll just have to ask Alice for all the dirt on you two." I shrug, turning my attention back to the TV. I could see her eyes widen in my peripheral vision as she realizes what I said.
"You most definitely will not do that." she glares at me.
"Is that what you think?"
"It's what I know."
"Yeah, sure."
