Jennie POV

Why did I do that? I keep replaying the bathroom incident from the party in my mind. I didn't mean to touch her. I was drunk and made a stupid mistake. I mentally berated myself. I decided to leave BamBam's party because of what happened. While driving in the rain, I spotted a familiar figure. I stopped in front of her.

"Y/n," I called out, but she just stared at me blankly. What was she doing here all alone? I quickly took off my jacket and wrapped it around her cold body.

"What are you doing here? You'll get sick," I worriedly asked her. I noticed that her eyes were puffy. Had she been crying all night?

"Have you been crying?" I asked, but her next action surprised me. She hugged me tightly, and I could hear her sobs.

"Why are you doing this, Jennie?" she weakly asked.

Should I tell her I don't like her? It might ruin my plan, but there's a small part of me that wants her to look at me, only me.

"Because I like you," I replied and hugged her back tightly.

"Please don't let go, for now," she weakly pleaded, and that made my heart beat faster. Then she suddenly asked me, still crying.

"Hey, Jennie? What's the worst thing love can do?" she questioned.

Had someone broken her heart? Had she been rejected? So many questions were lingering in my mind right now.

"Love can make you stop believing in love," I answered truthfully.

"Come on, let's get you home." I grabbed her small hand and held it, but she quickly stopped me.

"What's wrong?" I asked. Did she not want to go home?

"Mom will kill me if she finds out I'm in this state," she softly replied.

"Then you can sleep at my house." She looked at me cautiously. I chuckled at her reaction, maybe she was scared about what happened earlier. I still hadn't apologized to her.

"Uh, I'm sorry about what I did at the party. I was, you know, drunk and not myself," I apologized while awkwardly rubbing the back of my neck.

"But I promise I won't do anything that'll make you uncomfortable," I said while raising my right hand. She just stared at me, and I felt embarrassed about what I had done. All she did was giggle.

"Yah! Why are you giggling?" I asked, but she just continued giggling cutely. Just looking at her made my heart melt. Wait, what? I wasn't falling for her, right?

"Apology accepted, but promise me you won't do anything bad, okay?" Then she extended her pinkie finger. Gosh, she was an adorable creature. We both made the pinkie promise.

"Let's go, it's cold out here," I said while mimicking being cold. I opened the car door for her, and she gave me a soft smile.

...

"Welcome to my home," I said while gesturing towards my house.

"Woah, I didn't know you were rich and had such a big house," Y/n remarked.

As we entered, my maid Amelia greeted us and asked if she should prepare dinner, but I declined. I wanted to cook Y/n my favorite pasta.

"Y/n, do you like pasta?" I hoped she would say yes.

"Yup," she happily replied, popping the "p."

"Take a shower; you might get sick. Amelia, can you prepare a bath for my guest?" I politely requested.

"Please follow me, Miss Y/l/n." Y/n quietly followed.

...

Finally, the pasta is ready, and it smells great too. I hope Y/n will like it.

"Jennie, I'm done," Y/n said, smiling adorably. She looks cute wearing my clothes. I smiled softly at her.

"Bon appétit," I gave her the pasta, hoping it suits her taste.

"Wow, it tastes nice," she remarked. I hoped she wasn't just saying that. Hehe.

"Really? Well, it's my favorite thing to cook," I happily replied. Thank goodness she likes it.

After we finished eating, we decided to watch a movie. Of course, I let her pick.

"Hey Jen, can we watch Finding Dory?" she asked.

I smiled at her and playfully pinched her cheeks. "Of course," I replied. Did she just give me a nickname? My heart started beating faster. What are you doing to me, Y/n?

"Um, Jen, can we, you know, cuddle?" she nervously asked me. I hoped she wouldn't notice my blushing.

I opened my arms and said, "Come here."

She nestled between me and placed her head on my shoulder, and we cuddled. We were now in the middle of Finding Dory. I tried calling her name, but all I heard were soft snores.

I turned off the TV and carried her to my bedroom. I laid her on my bed and covered her with a blanket to keep her warm. When I was about to leave, she stopped me, even though she was still sleeping. Was she dreaming?

"Please don't go," that's all I heard. Well, it wouldn't hurt to sleep beside her, right? I lay down beside her, ready to sleep, but she hugged me and buried her face in the crook of my neck. It made me blush slightly, but I just smiled and went to sleep.

"Goodnight, princess."
