Jennie POV
I had been calling Y/n repeatedly, but she still hadn't answered. I paced back and forth, my mind consumed with worry about what might have happened to her. I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease, so I made the decision to go to her house and check if she was okay. When I arrived, Y/n's brother answered the door, and I was panting from running.
"Oppa, is Y/n alright? She hasn't been picking up her phone. Is she here?" I asked anxiously, hoping for some reassurance that she was safe and sound.
"My sister? I just got home from my shift, but there's no sign of Y/n here. Let me call our mom; maybe she knows where she is," Oppa replied. My worry intensified. Where could Y/n be? I desperately hoped that she was okay.
"Thank you, Oppa. Please let me know if you hear anything," I said, my voice filled with concern. I said my goodbyes and headed back home for now. I knew I would come back later to check on Y/n. Once I arrived home, I quickly grabbed my phone to check if Y/n had seen any of my messages. Unfortunately, none of them had been seen by her. Maybe her phone had died. I tried to calm myself down and contemplated taking a nap, hoping that Y/n would be safe and that everything would turn out fine.
...
I woke up from my slumber when I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket. I quickly sat up and took out my phone. It was Jin Oppa calling.
"Hello, Oppa. What's wrong? Is she okay?" I asked anxiously, my heart pounding in my chest.
"Calm down, Jennie-ah. Y/n was just hanging out with Chaeyoung, and her phone broke," Oppa explained.
"Thank you, Oppa. Bye," I replied, relieved to know that Y/n was safe.
I hastily fixed myself up and headed to Y/n's house. Once I arrived, I knocked on the door and anxiously waited for it to open. Y/n opened the door, and without a second thought, I pulled her into a tight hug, embracing her warmth.
"I thought something bad happened to you," I murmured, hiding my face in her neck, savoring her familiar scent.
"I was just hanging out with my best friend, Nini," she reassured me, gently caressing my back. Her touch was soothing, and I reluctantly released the hug, gazing at her.
"Wanna go inside?" Y/n asked, and I grinned, nodding in agreement. She took hold of my hand, and together we entered her house. My heart raced with anticipation as she led me to her room. I couldn't help but notice the cute redecoration she had done.
"Wait here; I'll get us some drinks," she said, but I stopped her, pulling her gently onto my lap, facing me. Her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue, which I found utterly adorable. I started by kissing her cheeks, then trailed my lips along her jawline. She let out a soft moan, igniting a desire within me. My body responded, and I felt a surge of arousal. Oh, fuck. I wrapped my hands around her waist, caressing it gently, as I stared into her beautiful eyes. I couldn't resist and pulled her into a passionate kiss.
"I love you," I confessed between kisses, pouring my emotions into the moment. However, she suddenly pulled away upon hearing those words. Did I say something wrong? Was I assuming too much? She gazed into my eyes, and tears welled up in hers.
"What's wrong? Did I say something you didn't like?" I asked sadly, fearing that this was the end. But to my surprise, she cupped my face and pressed our foreheads together.
"I love you too, Nini," she confessed. I froze, overwhelmed by her words. She loved me... Oh, my god, she loved me! I cupped her face in return, tears of joy streaming down my face. I leaned in and gently kissed her soft lips.
"Tomorrow, after school, meet me at our special place," I whispered, my voice filled with anticipation, before kissing her again.
"I really love you."
