Y/n POV

"So, what happened? Spill the beans," Chaeng said, leaning on her car like some cool dude.

"We just talked, that's all," I replied and got inside her car. Jennie couldn't drop me off at Lisa's house because she had something important to do. I wonder what it is, though.

"Where do you want to go, shorty?" she asked playfully. I stared at her and let out a small laugh.

"The frappé shop, please," I requested, and the two of us laughed like maniacs.

We arrived at the frappé shop, and let's just say I made Chaeng's pockets hurt. Hehe.

"You eat like a dinosaur," she teased, but I smacked her before she could burst into laughter and attract attention.

"Are you saying I'm fat?" I shot her a fake stern glare, and she nervously gulped, shaking her head in response. She then continued to eat.

"Calm down, Chae. I'm kidding," I laughed as I patted her back. She gave me a weird look, but I just laughed at her reaction. Chipmunk.

"You sound crazy. Stop that," she said, flicking my forehead slightly. I covered my forehead and acted hurt in front of her.

Chaeyoung's POV:

What is this cutie doing to me? I can't handle her cuteness. The way she covered her forehead and acted hurt is super cute.

"I merely flicked you. Your acting isn't good," I chuckled and continued to eat my food.

"Well, sorry for being a bad actress," she said and giggled. I playfully rolled my eyes at her.

She gasped, and I looked at her. What did I do? "Did you just roll your eyes at me, Park?" I laughed at her silliness and pinched her chubby cheeks. Suddenly, her phone rang, and Jennie's name showed up. My mood suddenly went down.

"Hey, baby. Yeah, I'm fine," she said, and her face lit up while talking to the love of her life. It pains me that Jennie is the one who makes her happy.

Y/n ended the call, smiling widely. She's really happy, huh?

"Chae, Jennie said she'll pick me up. If that's okay with you," she gave me her puppy eyes and smiled. I can't resist that.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Don't worry," I said and hid my pained expression with a smile.

"Yay, you're the best chipmunk!" she happily said. I'm glad you're happy.

After eating, we waited for Jennie's arrival. Several minutes later, she arrived. When Jennie got out of the car, y/n came running to her and hugged her tightly. Jennie let out a laugh and kissed y/n's forehead, then her lips. I felt a pang in my heart. I still haven't moved on. It's hard, you know. I just watched them from afar. 'It's better to be her best friend than to be a stranger to her,' I thought. But I snapped out of my thoughts when y/n appeared in front of me.

"Stop spacing out, Chae. I gotta go. Take care, okay?" she said, but I just nodded in response. She then walked towards Jennie and got into the car. I let out a sigh and leaned against my car.

"I wish you could look at me like you look at her."
