Chapter 26

Chaeyoung POV

Yesterday, I bought Y/n a new phone because I didn't want her to be mad at me. I'm too young to die, haha. I am currently waiting for her call. It's already 12:45 pm, but she's still not home. While waiting, I did various things, like making my sister mad at me for stealing her food and watching Disney movies.

Minutes later, my phone rang. I quickly went to pick it up. "It's Y/n!" I thought. I answered her call, but my heart broke when I found out why she called.

"Chaeng! Me and Jennie are now together!"

"O-Oh, really? Congratulations, Y/n/n."

"I'm so happy right now. She was really sweet, Chae. We even danced like there's no tomorrow."

"Really? Must be fun. Can't relate, haha."

"Yup, I had a blast."

"It's already late. You should sleep."

"Goodnight, Chae. Love yahh."

"Love you too. Sleep well."

I flopped myself on my bed, closed my eyes, and let my tears fall. "This is your fault for being too late, stupid self," I mentally scolded myself. I hate this. I hate seeing her with Jennie. I buried my face in my pillow and cried even more.

"Chae, what's wrong?" I turned my head, and it's Unnie. I quickly hugged her and cried harder.

"Y/n... Jennie and her..." I couldn't complete my sentence because of the pain in my chest. Unnie shushed me and caressed my back while my hot, sad tears streamed down my face.

"Let it all out, Chaeng," Unnie said, comforting me.

Today, I woke up with puffy eyes from crying all night. It still hurts, though. I feel like I've been hit by a car. I went to our garage and started the car. Maybe I'll stop by Y/n's house. I went to Y/n's house, and there she is, in Jennie's car, kissing her. My heart broke at the sight of Y/n and Jennie kissing. It's not like I can stop them or anything. I just continued to drive to school.

I arrived and saw Lisa waiting for Y/n, as usual. I bet she'll be shocked when she sees Jennie and Y/n together, holding hands. "You're already late, Manoban. We're on the same page," I thought and went to class.

Lisa POV

I can't wait to confess to Y/n after class. I waited for her earlier, but she didn't come. Maybe she's just late, so I went to class. It's already break, and I quickly dashed out of my class to find Y/n. I kept looking for her, but I couldn't find her anywhere.

"Looking for Y/n?" I flinched when Chaeyoung suddenly spoke behind me. I turned and saw Chaeyoung. I just nodded my head in response.

"She's in the garden-" I didn't let her finish and ran as fast as I could to the garden. I still remember when she kissed my forehead. I smiled and ran faster. I was now near the garden, but I froze at what I saw. Y/n giving Jennie forehead kisses. My blood boiled. I went towards them angrily.

"Lisa, what-" I cut Jennie off by punching her jaw hard.

"She's mine."
