"It's almost time, and Jennie is still nowhere to be seen. I can't help but worry if something happened to her or if she simply overslept. I hope nothing bad happened," I silently fretted. Suddenly, I was startled by a voice behind me. It was Chaeyoung, wearing a smile.

"Hey Chae, yeah, I'm waiting for her," I replied, grinning back at her. Although I overheard her mumbling something, I chose to ignore it.

"Lucky her," Chaeyoung muttered under her breath. I decided not to dwell on her comment as the bell rang and students began making their way to class, but Jennie was still nowhere in sight.

"Let's go. Maybe she's just running late," Chaeyoung suggested, glancing at the time. I followed her, and we headed towards our English class.

Today, I made a conscious effort to focus on the professor since English was an easy subject for me. All of a sudden, the door swung open loudly, drawing everyone's attention. There stood Jennie, panting and out of breath. I couldn't help but stifle a chuckle as the professor scolded her. Hastily, she took the seat next to mine, wearing an adorable, dorky grin.

"Sorry I'm late. I overslept," she confessed, still grinning at me. I couldn't contain a small giggle, prompting her to playfully poke my cheeks. However, we were interrupted by someone clearing her throat. It was Chaeyoung, seated on my other side. I offered her an apologetic smile while giving Jennie a glare.

"Hey, Jennie, be quiet and listen to the professor," I silently scolded her. Jennie slumped in her seat, pretending to be sorrowful. It was undeniably cute. The class eventually came to an end, but Jennie remained oblivious to my presence. Chaeyoung and I made our way to the cafeteria for lunch, yet my disappointment grew when I spotted Joohyun clinging to Jennie like a leech. That's my baby. If she wouldn't give me attention, so be it. I sulked in my seat, pouting.

Suddenly, my hair was ruffled by someone. It was Lisa. I nodded, assuring her that I was fine, even though I was still eating. Lisa settled beside me, joining in on the meal.

"Chaeng, would you like to have a sleepover at my house later? You too, Lisa," I pleaded, using my best puppy eyes. Lisa chuckled, and Chaeyoung blushed furiously.

"Yeah, I'll just grab a few things from my place," Lisa replied. "I want to come too," Chaeyoung added. I embraced them both and smiled with delight.

"Yay!" I exclaimed enthusiastically. Heads turned in our direction, but the reaction I enjoyed the most was Jennie's. She frowned and furrowed her brow. However, I simply smiled at her and cheekily stuck out my tongue.

"Hey, I'll quickly go to the restroom," I announced, heading in that direction. After washing and drying my hands, I was about to leave when I noticed Jennie standing in my way.

"Jennie, you're blocking the door," I chided her sternly. To my surprise, she suddenly enveloped me in a hug, burying her face in my neck.

"I'm sorry. Please don't ignore me," she pleaded earnestly.
