Chapter 58

Y/n's POV

Today was the best day. Jennie had to go back to her company since her assistant said there was an emergency meeting, and as the CEO, Jennie needed to be there.

"Mommy, will I see Mama again?" Ruby asked while her head was in my lap, watching cartoons.

"Of course, she's still at work, baby," I said as I gently stroked her hair.

"I can't wait to see Mama," she softly said and closed her eyes. My baby is tired. I picked her up and went upstairs to our bedroom. I placed her in the bed and smiled at her sleeping face. She looks like Jennie, hehe.

"I should probably get ready," I mumbled and went to find something to wear. All of a sudden, my phone buzzed, and I quickly took it from the nightstand.

#xx-xxx-xxxx: Hey, it's me, Jennie. Let's meet at the place.

I smiled and put my phone down. What should I wear? After minutes of choosing the right outfit, I finally found one.

I turned off the lights and peeked at Ruby one last time before I left. I went downstairs and headed out. I waited for a cab since I don't own a car, unlike Jennie, who owns many cars.

As I arrived at her special place, I saw a trail of roses, and I saw a card. I opened it and it had a message: "Follow this rose trail and you'll see something beautiful." I read it and laughed softly.

"It's been 6 years, yet you're still corny," I closed the card and followed the rose petals. I stopped when I saw another card. I smiled and picked it up. "You're almost there, love!" It made me slightly blush. I proceeded to walk until I saw Jennie with a bouquet of roses in her hands.

"Hey, I got your favorite," she said as she gave me the flowers. I gladly accepted and smelled the roses.

"Thank you, it's beautiful," I said, smiling. She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her, cupping my face.

"You're beautiful," I didn't say anything and just stared into her captivating cat eyes. All I heard was our heartbeats beating fast and loud. She slowly leaned towards me, closing the gap. I could feel the softness of her lips. We pulled away, grinning and smiling at each other. After the kiss, she put her forehead against mine, still cupping my face.

"Would you do me the honor of being mine again?" Jennie asked, kissing my forehead and then my nose.

"I... would love to," I replied and kissed her lips again. She suddenly picked me up, and I shrieked in surprise.

"Y-Yah, put me down," I said, my face heating up. Jennie just grinned and spun me around.

"I love you so much!" she shouted happily. I wrapped my arms around her neck and laughed along with her. She put me down and placed kisses on my face.

"I love you and Ruby," I teared up at what she said. I just hugged her tightly.

"I love you too, always and forever."
