Y/n POV

Chaeng and I were at our usual hangout spot, a quiet place with a breathtaking view of a beautiful lake. We chose this spot because it offered serenity and only a few people came here.

"Y/n, want to swim over there? Just like old times," Chaeng suddenly suggested. Was she serious? I hadn't brought extra clothes.

"Chaeng, I don't have spare clothes, so no," I replied, returning to eating the strawberries she had bought. I jumped in surprise when Chaeng suddenly picked me up bridal style.

"Yahh! Chaeyoung, put me down, or I'll kill you!" I threatened her, trying to sound menacing, but she only laughed. I was incredibly nervous.

"Yahh, don't jump!" I yelled, but she just shrugged her shoulders and smiled at me. And then she jumped. I screamed as if my life depended on it. When we hit the water, it was freezing cold. I swam up to the surface, but Chaeng was nowhere to be found.

"Chae? Where are you? Chaeyoung?" I panicked, unable to locate her while swimming in circles. Suddenly, I felt a hand wrap around my waist. I turned my head and saw Chaeng smiling like an idiot.

"Chaeyoung!" I hugged her tightly in the water. Oh god, I thought I had lost her.

"Hahaha, were you scared? It was just a joke," Chaeng said playfully, but my eye twitched in irritation. I tightened the hug, almost crushing her.

"Yah, it hurts! It hurts!" she cried out, but I just laughed and swam to the surface. Now we were both soaking wet. How were we going to go home like this?

"Yah, it hurts! It hurts!" I mocked her, making funny faces and laughing to myself. I was losing my mind.

"Are you mocking me?" Chaeng asked curiously, but I just shrugged my shoulders and giggled. However, I suddenly remembered that my phone was in my pocket. I reached into my pocket and retrieved my phone, attempting to turn it on, but it didn't work. Park Chaeyoung, you idiotic girl!

"Yah, Park Chaeyoung! My phone was in my pocket!" I yelled. She tried to run, but I caught her and jumped on her, causing both of us to fall to the ground. I was now straddling her and playfully smacking her.

"I'm sorry! Gahhh, stop! I'll buy you a new phone!" she pleaded. I stopped hitting her and pinched her shoulders really hard.

"Have mercy," she cried out, but I just snickered and got off her. Her eyes were now teary, but I continued teasing her.

"You better buy me a new phone, or else I'll give you a beating," I said while munching on strawberries.

"You're so mean," she muttered, rubbing her shoulder. I just laughed like there was no tomorrow. She stared at me, clearly confused. Perhaps she thought I was crazy. Haha.

...

"That was fun, Chae. Be careful on your way home," I said to Chaeng. She smiled at me and sighed, appearing tired.

"I will, although your beating still hurts," she replied. Before I could playfully smack her, she suddenly ran to her car and drove off. What an idiot. I closed the door and placed my belongings on the sofa.

"Hey sis, Jennie was here earlier. She said you weren't picking up when she called you," Oppa informed me. Wow, she came all the way here because I didn't answer? How cute.

"Chaeng broke my phone, so I beat her up," I explained, and Oppa burst into laughter. Suddenly, we heard a knock on the door.

"I'm coming," I called out and made my way to the door. To my surprise, it was a worried Jennie. I gave her my warmest smile, and she pulled me towards her, hugging me tightly. I blushed and hugged her back. It was warm and felt nice.

"I thought something bad happened to you," Jennie said, her voice filled with concern. I could see the worry in her eyes as she held me in her arms.
