Jennie's POV

"I hate you, Jennie Kim." Those were the last words y/n said before she left with Lisa. Those words were stuck in my head, words I never wanted to hear from her.

"That was quite a show," I swiftly turned my head in Sana's direction and gave her a stern glare.

"You just enjoyed ruining my fucking life, didn't you?" I said, causing Sana to change her expression.

"Jennie, I did this for you, for us!" Sana shouted, but I didn't give her a single glance.

"There's no 'us' anymore, and fucking stay away from me from now on," I spat harshly, causing Sana to freeze in her spot.

I composed myself and ran out of the room. When I got outside the building, my heart broke when I saw Lisa giving y/n a piggyback ride. Will she forgive me? Everything's going to be okay, Jennie, everything's going to be fine... right?

I don't know what to do anymore. I picked up my phone and sent y/n a message.

"Baby, talk to me, please."

Delivered: 5:40 PM.

...

I sighed and went home.
I was awakened from my nap when my phone buzzed. I quickly unlocked it, thinking it was y/n. Unfortunately, it wasn't her. I sighed in frustration and sent her another message.

"Y/n, let's talk, please."

"I can explain, just please talk to me..."

"Did you already go home?"

"I love you..."

"Please reply, I miss you."

"Baby, please give me a chance."

Delivered: 8:45 PM.

I stared at my phone for a moment, hoping y/n would reply any minute. Sadly, she didn't even bother to reply. I angrily threw my phone away. I curled into a ball and let my tears fall.

"Miss, you need to eat. It's not good for your health," Amelia said through the door.

"Just leave it there. I'll eat later," I weakly said. I miss her.

Y/n POV

I lay in my bed, tiredly thinking about what happened today. I saw my phone buzzing a couple of times. That must be Jennie. I picked up my phone and saw tons of notifications from her. I unlocked my phone and read each one of the messages she sent. While I was reading them, I felt a tear escape my eye.

"I love you too, but I'm also hurt. I hope you understand," I mumbled under my breath. I closed my eyes and let my tears fall.

"Let's talk," I replied and tossed my phone onto my bed, then cried silently.

...

I quickly wiped my tears as soon as I heard someone knock on my door. I got up from my bed and opened the door, revealing Jennie. She looked awful.

"Y/n..." Her voice cracked as she called my name. She entered and closed the door.

"Jennie, let's—" she cut me off by pulling me into her embrace. I weakly pushed her away, but it didn't budge.

"Don't leave me, please... I beg you," she said through her sobs. I began to throw punches at her chest while the tears I had been holding back earlier fell.

"I hate you..." I repeated those words as my punches started to slow down, and she buried her face in my neck.

"I promise to never hurt you or leave you... I promise, just let me explain," she weakly begged, still not letting me go.

"Jennie, let me go," I abruptly spoke, causing her to freeze. I pushed her, and she stumbled

a few steps backwards.

"I... let's break up," I said, hanging my head low and wiping my tears that were running down my cheeks.

"N-No, please. W-We can fix this, just please," she kneeled down in front of me and tightly held my hands. I could feel her hands trembling.

"Jennie, stand up, please," I made her stand, holding her hands. I'm going to miss you, Nini.

"You'll come back for me... right?" I bit my lip and cupped her face, more tears now falling down her cheeks. I softly kissed her lips and pulled away, smiling, tears still running down my cheeks.

"I promise I'll come back for you."
