Chapter 12

Y/n POV

As Jennie confronted the waiter for his inappropriate behavior, I intervened to calm her down and held her hand. Thankfully, her anger subsided as I reassured her.

"I understand why you're upset, Jennie, but remember that I chose to be here with you tonight," I comforted her, gazing into her eyes. "My focus is entirely on our date, and his actions don't affect that."

Jennie's expression softened, realizing that her possessiveness had momentarily overshadowed the fact that we were together for this special occasion.

After finishing our meal, Jennie led me to a mysterious location, keeping it a secret when I asked her where we were going.

"Are you planning to murder me, Ms. Kim?" I playfully gasped, teasing her about the unknown destination.

"Maybe, maybe not," Jennie replied with a chuckle, her beauty radiating effortlessly. I couldn't help but admire her.

As we drove for a few minutes, anticipation grew within me. I wondered why she wouldn't reveal the location. I couldn't contain my curiosity, but before I could ask again, Jennie spoke up.

"Okay, we're here, but you'll need to put on a blindfold, okay?" she instructed. Her words made me feel a mix of nervousness and excitement.

"I knew it, you're going to murder me," I mumbled, unable to hide my amusement. Jennie chuckled at my comment, her laughter adding to her allure.

"I'm putting the blindfold on now," Jennie announced. I felt a rush of nerves and anticipation as the blindfold covered my eyes.

We walked for several minutes until Jennie finally removed the blindfold. When I opened my eyes, I was greeted with a breathtaking sight. The place she had brought me to was truly magnificent.

"Wow, it's absolutely stunning," Y/n exclaimed, completely captivated by the beauty of the place. Jennie watched the girl with a loving smile, unaware that she was the first girl to be brought to this special location by Jennie.

"Do you like it?" Jennie asked, and Y/n responded with an enthusiastic nod and a wide grin.

"She really enjoyed it," Jennie thought happily. She spread out the picnic blanket on the ground, offering them a comfortable spot to sit. Jennie had also brought along snacks and drinks. She noticed Y/n near the docks, watching the small fishes swim and taking in the breathtaking view. Y/n eventually made her way to Jennie, sitting beside her and resting her head on Jennie's shoulder. They sipped their drinks and enjoyed the moment.

From Y/n's perspective, she felt a sense of comfort and warmth being close to Jennie. She had no idea that this secret place belonged to Jennie's family and that they had discovered it together when they were lost in the woods. Curious, Y/n asked about Jennie's mother and learned that she had passed away in a car crash on Jennie's birthday. Jennie's sadness was evident as a tear escaped her eyes. Y/n wiped her tears and hugged her tightly, providing comfort in her embrace. They stayed in that position for a while, finding solace in each other's presence.

Time passed, and the date came to an end. Jennie had been a wonderful companion, and Y/n found herself momentarily forgetting her feelings for Chaeyoung. Jennie walked Y/n to her doorstep, displaying her sweet nature.

"Thank you for today, Nini. I really enjoyed it," Y/n expressed, smiling at Jennie. Jennie gazed at her with admiration, possibly even more, but Y/n couldn't be sure. It was a bit confusing.

"I'll take you somewhere wonderful next time," Jennie happily declared, prompting a smirk and raised eyebrow from Y/n.

"So, there will be a next time?" Y/n teasingly inquired. A rosy hue spread across Jennie's face, and Y/n couldn't resist lightly pinching her blushing cheeks. Just as Y/n was about to withdraw her hands, Jennie held onto them, locking eyes with her. She kissed Y/n's hands and smiled, causing a blush to rise on Y/n's cheeks. Jennie released her hands and cupped Y/n's face, leaning in slowly. Y/n calmed herself, preparing for the kiss, and closing her eyes. However, they were both startled when someone cleared their throat. It was Y/n's smugly smiling brother, interrupting the moment. Their faces flushed even deeper, realizing they had been caught.

"How sweet! Oh, sorry, were you two about to kiss?" Y/n's annoying brother teased. Y/n retaliated by kicking him hard, causing him to hiss in pain. Serves him right.

"Jin, leave your sister alone! Just let her be!" their mom shouted from inside the house. The embarrassment only grew as Y/n's mom was now aware of the situation. Jin limped into the house, rolling his eyes.

"I have to go, Y/n. It's late," Jennie said, planting a kiss on Y/n's forehead. Y/n's blush intensified, feeling incredibly happy at that moment.

"Yeah, be careful on your way home, Nini," Y/n said softly, gazing into Jennie's beautiful cat-like eyes. Jennie tucked a strand of Y/n's hair behind her ear and smiled. She let go of Y/n's hands, got into her car, and drove off. Y/n watched her leave, smiling to herself.
