Jennie POV
"I'm sorry, Princess. Please don't ignore me," I whispered, my face buried in her neck. Y/n gently held my cheeks and turned my face to look at her.
"Then don't ignore me first," she murmured, blushing. I mirrored her actions, cupping her face and leaving a tender kiss on her forehead.
"You look absolutely lovely today," I complimented her, running my fingers through her hair.
"Thank you, Ms. Kim," she replied, and we locked eyes, sharing an unspoken connection. I closed my eyes slowly, leaning in for a kiss, but she playfully stopped me, covering my mouth with her hand.
"Not so fast, Nini," she teased, giggling at my flushed cheeks. This made me pout, but she intertwined our hands and led me out of the bathroom. My heart fluttered with joy. I truly adored her.
"Hey, shorty, want to hang ou—" Lisa's words trailed off as she noticed Y/n's hand holding mine. We quickly let go, both chuckling nervously.
"I have to go, Nini. See you later. Oh, and you're invited to my sleepover," Y/n said. My spirits soared when she included me in her plans, but my excitement waned as I realized she had invited others as well.
"Ugh, damn it," I muttered under my breath.
"Why are you so angry, Jendeuk?" Taehyung suddenly appeared beside me.
"I have nothing to wear, Tae. Y/n invited us to a sleepover. Help me tap into your fashion
sense," I said seriously, but he playfully punched my shoulder. It didn't hurt at all.
"Hey, I'm not a fashion expert, but alright, I'll help you," Tae said. I expressed my gratitude and did a little victory dance in my mind.
...
I had invited four people over: Jisoo Unnie, Chaeng, Lisa, and Jennie. With drinks and snacks prepared, my intention was to have a fun time together, especially considering their previous conflicts. While cleaning the kitchen, I overheard them arguing outside my house. It seemed they had already arrived. I gathered myself and went to open the door, observing their bickering through the window. It frustrated me to see them behaving like children.
"Could you please stop arguing?" Lisa said to Jennie, who responded with an eye roll.
"Why don't you just be quiet?" Jennie retorted.
"If you three don't stop, I'll give you a good smack," Chaeng threatened, exasperated.
"Can you all just be quiet?" Jisoo Unnie said coldly, but the arguing persisted. Sensing it could escalate, I intervened and opened the door.
"Enough fighting. If it continues, I won't let you come inside," I warned them. They ceased their argument and hung their heads in submission.
"Now, you may enter," I relented. They quietly stepped inside and settled in the living room.
"I'll be right back. Don't fight, okay?" I reminded them. They nodded, and I couldn't help but find their reaction endearing. It was like scolding children. Adorable.
"I brought drinks and snacks!" I announced, taking a seat in front of them. I turned on the TV for a movie, attempting to let them choose, but their disagreements made it impossible. Jennie approached me, tugging at my shirt.
"Feed me, Y/n/n," she pleaded, opening her mouth. I giggled and fed her some chips.
"Y/n/n, me too!" the others gathered around, taking turns opening their mouths as I fed them. They were absolutely adorable.
Lisa proposed playing spin the bottle with a twist: answering truthfully or drinking beer. The idea was embraced by the group, despite my personal distaste for beer.
"Great idea, Manobal," Jennie remarked, causing Lisa to glare playfully. Lisa grabbed the beer and cups, initiating the game.
"Let's just spin the bottle already," Jisoo said coldly. Lisa chuckled and let me spin first. After a brief moment, it pointed to Chaeng.
"Chaeyoung, truth or dare?" I asked mischievously, a grin on my face.
"Dare," Chaeng replied, nervously laughing and glancing at the others.
"I dare you to dance your victory dance in front of us," I teased, provoking snickers from the rest. Chaeng performed her victory dance, leaving Lisa and Jennie in fits of laughter.
"Watch out, I'll get my revenge," Chaeng declared, spinning the bottle. This time, it landed on Lisa, who shrugged it off.
"Alright, Manoban, truth or dare?" Chaeng asked, smiling at her.
"I'm not a coward, Chae, so dare," Lisa responded, returning the smile but sighing playfully.
"Go outside and yell, 'My last name is Manobal,'" I suggested, grinning mischievously. Jennie, Jisoo, and I burst into laughter, well aware of Lisa's aversion to being called Manobal. Lisa gestured playfully as if saying "you're dead," then went outside and shouted the phrase.
"MY LAST NAME IS MANOBAL!" Lisa yelled, swiftly returning inside to avoid any neighbors' attention. Laughter filled the room, but as luck would have it, the bottle pointed to Jisoo for her turn.
"Jisoo Unnie, truth or dare?" Lisa asked, clearly
seeking revenge.
"Truth," Jisoo Unnie replied.
"Do you like Y/n?" Lisa inquired. The question silenced us all. I noticed Jennie clenching her jaw, Chaeng glaring at Jisoo, and Lisa tightening her fist. Oh God...
"I love her."
