Jennie POV

"Y/n." I stood up from my seat and called out her name, but she seemed to avoid looking at me. Why aren't you looking at me?

"Yah, why are you late, useless girl?" I heard someone say, and it made my blood boil. Who's this person?

"You!" He quickly looked at me with a smile. Disgusting.

"Yes, Mi-" I cut him off and gave him a glare.

"Get out of this room, now," I harshly said, causing the guy to gather all his things and leave. I glanced at y/n, whose head was hung low.

"Continue this meeting." Y/n came to the front and began her presentation. Maybe I'll talk to her later. She has changed, she has grown taller, I guess.

After the meeting, I told the others to leave first since I had something to do. When y/n was about to leave, I quickly stood up and went towards her.

"W-What's wro-" I cut her off by pulling her into my embrace. I missed this, I missed her.

"Why? Why did you leave without saying goodbye?" I asked, tears welling up. I felt her hands gently caressing my back.

"I'm... sorry." This time, I didn't hold back anymore and buried my face in her neck, crying. It has always been my favorite thing to do, burying my face in her neck.

"Jennie," she softly spoke. I pulled away and cupped her cheeks. How I missed her, my love.

" 'Even if we're apart, I promise to always find you, my love.' Now that I have finally found you, I'm never going to let go," I said seriously, causing her face to blush. Seriously, after all these years, she still hasn't changed.

"You're still corny after all these years." This is happiness. Hearing her laugh is my happiness.

"But... Nini, you need to wake up." I froze. What is she saying?

"W-What are you talking about?" I laughed nervously while tightening my grip on her hands. She smiled at me, and tears started to fall from her cheeks.

"Please tell me... you're real." My voice cracked, and my tears were now falling. Please...

"I'm sorry, Nini, but you have to go back." She smiled one last time and disappeared.

I quickly opened my eyes and looked around me. Where's y/n? I sat up and saw nothing except for my room. I clenched my fist and let my tears fall.

"You dreamt about her again, didn't you?" I looked up and saw Chaeyoung leaning on my door. I quickly wiped my tears and composed myself.

"Morning, Chae," I weakly greeted and got out of bed. Chaeyoung and I are business partners, that's why we decided to live together.

"Come on, I made breakfast." I followed her downstairs and saw Lisa eating.

"Morning," Lisa said and kissed Chaeyoung. I'm jealous. Chaeyoung has her loved one, while I still can't get over her.

"Really, in front of my pancakes?" I joked, causing both of them to laugh.

"Don't mind her, Lisayah," Chaeyoung said and kissed Lisa's face.

"Yah, if you two won't stop, I'll throw you out," I playfully threatened. Lisa let out a fake gasp and acted hurt.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you both," Lisa said with a serious expression.

"What? What's wrong?" I worriedly asked. Lisa took a deep breath and looked at us.
