Chapter 51

Lisa POV

"Daebak," y/n exclaimed, causing the three of us to laugh at her cute reaction.

"Let's eat, I'm starving," Chaeyoung said, and y/n eagerly nodded. The four of us ate in bliss. 'The food here is really great,' I thought, happily eating.

After eating, we headed back to the school, and Chaeng and y/n were hungry again. Seriously, these two. I wonder where all the food they ate went, considering we walked all the way to school.

"Jennie, taste this," I stared at the both of them being lovey-dovey. It's making me jealous, actually, but it's okay as long as she's happy.

"I'm jealous of Jennie," Chaeyoung abruptly said, making me turn to her direction. She laughed softly. Her eyes... they were filled with sadness.

"I'm jealous of her too. I always thought that y/n and I had a spark," I said sadly, looking down. Neither of us bothered to speak for a minute.

"I wish I could turn back time and confess my true feelings," Chaeng mumbled as she stared at the couple. I wish I could turn back time too.

"There's nothing we can do now, Park," I said and let out a soft chuckle. Chaeng sighed and continued to stare at the sweet couple.

Y/n POV

Jennie told me to wait for her in the parking lot. She said she has some business to take care of. Maybe she left something important or some teacher made her stay. I decided to text Jennie to ask her what's taking her so long. But to my dismay, my phone wasn't in my pocket.

"Wow, y/n, how forgetful can you be?" I rolled my eyes in annoyance and lazily went back to the building. As I passed by the halls, I heard people arguing. I stopped walking when I heard Jennie's voice. 'What's happening?' I peeked into the room where I heard Jennie's voice. I stiffened when I saw something I didn't like.

Sana and Jennie were kissing...

I gathered all my strength and barged into the room, causing both of them to flinch in shock.

"Baby, it's not what—" Jennie got cut off by Sana's laugh.

"Oh, you think she loves you? It's just all a dare to make you fall for her and take your virginity," I didn't hear the rest of what Sana said. I felt tears falling down my face. I felt numb. Jennie came towards me and hugged me.

"I love you, don't leave me, please," she said through her sobs. I didn't hug her back and weakly pushed her away from me.

"Y-Y/n," she stammered, walking towards me with tears visible in her eyes.

"Don't you dare come closer!" I shouted. More tears came out. I want to go home. I heard the door open, revealing a panting Lisa.

"Lisa," I weakly said. Lisa came running towards me and hugged me securely. I buried my head in her chest and cried harder. So it was all a game. It's my fault for trusting her in the first place. 'You're the dumb one here, y/n.'

"What did you do, Jennie?" Lisa angrily asked Jennie. I didn't bother to look at her face.

"I-I can explain. Just let me talk to y/n," she said. Stop, please. I want to go home already. I stopped hugging Lisa and looked back at Jennie.

"I hate you, Jennie Kim."
