Chapter 46

Y/n POV

As I said those words, Jennie froze and cleared her throat nervously. Now this ex of hers is starting to piss me off.

"B-Baby, your food... it'll get cold," she reminded me, but I slammed my spoon down and glared at her.

"Isn't she cute, asking you out..." I muttered, while Jennie's hands trembled.

"I don't think about her anymore, baby, I swear," she pleaded. I just sighed and went back to eating. 'I just hope Sana wouldn't cross the line,' I thought, clenching my fist.

"I believe you. Now eat," I softly said as Jennie sighed in relief. I trust Jennie. I glanced at her and saw her staring at me.

"Is something wrong? You're zoning out," she asked. I just shook my head in response and continued to eat my breakfast.

Jennie POV

I was worried, thinking that y/n is secretly mad at me. I glanced in her direction and saw her zoning out.

"Is something wrong? You're zoning out," I asked, but all she did was shake her head and go back to eating. 'You're dead, Sana,' I thought. I tried to lighten up the mood by asking her on a date.

"Ah, y/n/n, wanna go on a date later?" I happily asked, breaking the awkward atmosphere.

"S-Sure." Ahh, watching her blush is the best. I smiled at my accomplishment and finished my breakfast.

After breakfast, I dropped her off at her house so she could prepare for our date later. Hehe, cutie. I was driving back home when my phone started to ring. I quickly picked it up, thinking it was my girlfriend, but I heard another girl's voice.

"Jennie, why'd you hang up on me earlier?"

"Sana, stop this. We're over."

"Oh, it's because of your little girlfriend, haha. You think I wouldn't know about your little dare?"

"The dare was already over, Minatozaki."

"What happens when I tell y/n, hmm?"

"Don't you dare."

"Can't promise you that, HAHAHAH. Meet under the bleachers tomorrow."

Sana ended the call. I wasn't scared of her. I'm scared of losing my girl. I'm scared of making her cry... It broke me. I'm going to fix this. I drove faster towards my best friend's house. Minutes later, I arrived and quickly got out of my car.

"Taehyung-ah! Open up!" I shouted while knocking on his door. He immediately opened it, huffing.

"Wha-What's wrong?" he said as he caught his breath. My tears suddenly fell, and I broke down in front of him.

"Taehyung-ah, I don't want to lose her," I said with my voice quivering. Taehyung helped me go inside and talk. He let me sit in one of his seats and gently wiped my tears.

"Jen, what happened?" he asked.

"S-Sana, she knows," I said through my sobs, not making Taehyung understand me.

"Calm down, now slowly say it," he said as he rubbed my back.

"How did Sana know about the dare?" His eyes widened like he saw a ghost.

"Who told her? I haven't told anyone, Jen. I wouldn't want you to be sad, you know," Taehyung reassured, but his brows were furrowed.

"I can't lose her. I only love y/n, and y/n alone."
