Jennie POV

I clenched my fist as I sent a stern glare at Lisa, who was just smirking at me. We stared at each other for a minute, and then she laughed like an idiot.

"I'm kidding. Well, cya later, Kim," she said as she patted my shoulder. 'It doesn't sound like a joke to me,' I thought to myself.

"Looks like you have yourself a rival, Jendeuk," Sana came into the bathroom, smirking and slowly coming towards me.

"But don't worry, I'll always be here if she leaves you." My eyes widened, and I slightly pushed her away from me.

"I'll never cheat on her like what you did to me," I retorted coldly, making Sana's smirking face turn into a frown. I quickly left the bathroom and headed outside the school. 'I need to see y/n right now,' I thought and ran to the parking lot.
...

I gently knocked on her door, hoping someone would answer. 'Dad will kill me if he knew I skipped school,' I thought and sighed. But the door suddenly opened, revealing my sick girlfriend.

"Yah! What are you doing out of bed? You're sick," I scolded her, and she only gave me her weak smile. I went towards her and picked her up bridal style.

"Jennie, put me down. I can walk," she said, embarrassed. But I just continued to walk upstairs to her room. Seconds later, she gave up and wrapped her arms around my neck. I opened her room and gently placed her on the bed.

"Jennie-ah, did you skip school?" I froze at first, but I just nodded nervously, not meeting her gaze.

"I can't help it knowing my girlfriend is sick," I mumbled and lowered my head, holding both of her hands. I heard her sigh, and she cupped my face.

"Just don't do it again, okay?" I slightly blushed at the contact and nodded my head in response. When I was about to kiss her, she blocked my mouth with her hand.

"I'm sick, Nini," she softly chuckled, but I just pouted since I can't kiss her. I just lay myself beside her and pulled her closer to me.

"You need to rest," I said as I stroked her hair gently.

"Sing me a song, please." I couldn't resist those eyes. I sighed and sang softly.

"You don't know, babe
When you hold me
And kiss me slowly
It's the sweetest thing
And it don't change
If I had it my way
You would know that you are

You're the coffee that I need in the morning
You're my sunshine in the rain when it's pouring
Won't you give yourself to me
Give it all, oh

I just wanna see
I just wanna see how beautiful you are
You know that I see it
I know you're a star
Where you go, I follow
No matter how far
If life is a movie
Oh, you're the best part"

~

When I finished singing, I saw her eyes closed and snoring softly. I smiled at the view in front of me. I softly placed a few kisses on her forehead and nose.

"Even if we're apart, I promise to always find you, my love."
