Jennie's POV

She left... she left me all alone. I thought she would come back just for me. But why did she leave me without saying a word?

_

Flashback...

"I promise I'll come back for you." Those words were really painful. She wouldn't even let me explain. After the breakup, I went to my special place to clear my mind, but I couldn't get y/n out of my head. I got up from my seat and yelled at the top of my lungs. I broke down and got on my knees.

"I'm sorry," I mumbled, clenching my fist.

These past several weeks have been really hard for me. I didn't go to school. I was just in my room, isolating myself from everyone, but Amelia always checked on me. Today, I decided to go to y/n's house and prove that I've changed just for her. That's right, Jennie, woman up.

I excitedly got up from my bed and fixed myself. Minutes later, I went downstairs and saw Amelia with the flowers I had asked her to buy.

"Thanks, Amelia. I've got to go. Bye!" I excitedly drove towards y/n's house. When I arrived, I stopped at their front door and fixed myself first. You can do it, Jennie.

I began to knock and waited, but no one answered. I knocked again and waited, but still, no answer.

"Young lady, are you looking for my neighbor?" I turned around and saw an old woman walking towards me.

"Ah, yes. Are they home?" I asked, but I froze at what the old lady said.

"Oh, I saw them last week with a bunch of bags. They said they were moving to the States." My heart broke into pieces as soon as she said that.

Why?...

Why did you leave me behind?

Flashback ends.

6 years later

Jennie's POV

It's been 6 years, yet I'm still not over you. Where are you, y/n...

"Miss Kim, are you alright?" I snapped out of my thoughts when my secretary called me. I just nodded my head in response and smiled at her.

"Do I have any meetings today?" I politely asked my secretary.

"Ah, yes, this afternoon, Miss," she said. I sighed in frustration. I want to rest so bad.

"Thank you. You can go now. I still have to finish this paperwork," my secretary nodded and left. I should focus on my work more.

...

I headed into the conference room as soon as my secretary called me. I was kind of late, actually, but who cares? I can do whatever I want. That's what they call fashionably late, hehe.

I still had to walk all the way there just for a dumb meeting. Honestly, sometimes they don't know what they're doing. I stopped in front of the door and sighed. I opened the door, and all heads turned to me. I only gave them a smile and went to sit.

...

It was boring. These people didn't fascinate me at all. I rolled my eyes in irritation. I took out my phone and decided to play games to entertain myself.

"So, Miss Kim, what do you think? Amazing, right?" The guy said cockily and winked at me. Dude, what the fuck?

"That idea is utterly... pointless," I answered coldly, making the guy gulp.

"Ah, Miss, there's still someone coming. She apologized since her car had a flat tire," my assistant said calmly, not scared of me at all.

"I don't have all day. Tell her to hurry up," I muttered.

"I'm sorry I'm

late!" I turned around, causing my eyes to widen, and saw the person I had been searching for years.

"Y/n."
