Corinth's Pov

"Caleb?" Why are you here?" I wasn't made aware that we were having guests.

"Kimmy did you know he would be here?" I turned to look at her; her eyes were way too turned up and she giggled a bit while covering her mouth. " You did didn't you?" I shook my head in disappointment.

"Guilty as charged." She held her hands up as she tossed her bag onto the couch and strolled over to the kitchen.

"Aunty Lianne, Corinth told me that Jess's husband is an old flame of yours, sorry Caleb if that makes you feel awkward." Kimmy's mouth ran just as much as Derrick. I sighed loudly as I placed my things on the staircase and made my way to the sink to wash off the filth of the day.

"Kimmy," I said irritated while rubbing my temple.

"She did huh." My mom seemed to not be able to hide the anxiety that erupted due to the question.

"Can you guys excuse me for one minute and aunty Lianne you could have done a lot better than him?" Caleb spewed in a, as a matter of factly tone as he strolled up the stairs.

"What's his name?" Kimmy asked joining mom at the stove. While I sat at the marble countertop; flipping through channels. I felt queasy considering that Caleb was here. Why didn't Kimmy say something?

"He wasn't anything special really." Mom said while slightly tapping in some salt and a  hint of black pepper which made her sneeze a bit into her clothing.

"That's not his name, and also I beg to differ since Jess is married to him." Kimmy continued to pry in a playful manner.

"Kimmy just let it go," I said letting out a huff as I was now aimlessly flipping through the channels while the anxiety was gnawing at me.

"Its Adrian, his name is Adrian Blake." She replied exasperatedly while staring me.

"What did I do?" I looked at her in confusion.

"Nothing, it's nothing." She said. Returning her focus; to preparing the dish that illuminated the room.

"So Joshua is coming home in the next two weeks that's exciting. "Kimmy spoke as she ransacked the fridge in search of yogurt. I guess she felt accomplished considering she left the conversation with his name.

"There isn't any." I mucked. To which she sends me a death glare

"You could have told me that like forever ago." She slammed in the fridge.

"You basically repacked the fridge in an organized manner so where is the downside to that and you should have told me Cadel was coming." I shrugged playfully.

"God is a good god. "Kimmy started singing to blank out my statement.

"Should I join in?" I mocked as I swayed my head to the words.

"You are so lucky I have a good heart." She said taking a seat adjacent to me and snatching the remote out of my hand. I pretended to be affected by her touch and she notices.

"I am so sorry I shouldn't have."concern swept her face.

"I'm kidding." I laughed nudging into her shoulder as I took a bite into an pocodotted Apple. The juices seemingly spilled unto my tongue.

"Aunty Lianne, quick question who is this, and what has she done with Corinth?"

"I've been asking myself that exact same question." Mom smiled as she strained the potato cubes.

"So Corinth, Kimmy tells me Mr.Pierre suggested that you start a support group." Her tone not steady.

"Is there anything Kimmy doesn't say?" I send Kimmy a dirty look as I took another bite into my apple leaving only the stem behind this time.
