The guys and selene came an hour after me and Maddy's talk.
I was locked up in my room bawling my eyes out and trying oooh desperately trying to keep my shit together, but failed miserably... Yah me.
Maddy had been trying to get my attention by the never ending texts, calls and don't get me started on the pounding of my door. I wasn't mad at maddy -well at least not anymore, I understood what she was trying to say. Hah who am I kidding I didn't understand shit. But I knew one thing that was certain and that was, she wasn't trying to hurt me, she was just stating facts and by stating facts she was being her honest self. But i still needed my me time that is why my other best friend Ethan had been pounding on my door and threatening me for the past 30minutes...naaa make that 45minutes.
"April so help me god if you don't open up you're gonna be without a door for the whole year"well that threat was cute,ethan would never ruin anything that had the words "school property "and apparently my apartment happened to be school property.
"Yoo leave her alone, just give her time"ooh that voice would be non other than Lucas hills. Lucas....well Lucas is uhmmm Lucas..... Let's just say he's more of the bad boy but with rational and patient personality in all. He and my last and not the least third best friend selene have been together for over 2yrs.Damn I can still remember the shit we all went through to get them both together, both playing denial with their feelings but at the end got together.meehn was that some lovey dovey shit back then. But that's their story.
Another pound, another yelling from Ethan and threats brought me back from my day dream.
"why should I give her time? Huh tell me ooh wise one.. Huh why?"gosh I can literally imagine him rolling his eyes at Lucas, damn ethan why you gotta be so stubborn.
"I dunno you tell me cause if she wanted to see anyone she would have opened up by now, soo you do the math"they kept bickering at each other and I wondered why derek hadn't shut them up by now. Sooo me being the sensible and considerate person I know I'm not but I'm sometimes opened my door but not before being pushed aside by non other than ethan and getting my ass interrogated at.
But he stopped immediately he saw my puffy bloodshot eyes and I was engulfed in one of his secure hugs, the ones that make me safe and tells me that everything is going to be ok.He didn't need me to say anything cause he knew what was the cause of my tears but i guess he was curious as to what brought him up cause he knew I would never bring him up for the life of me.But when maddy came in minutes after and i stiffened and directed my gaze to her apologetic ones he clicked two and two together and in that instant ethan lost little sense of sanity. "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!"he yelled which only made me jump in place, everyone was actually affected by it even maddy who seemed to be at a loss for words but she quickly got herself together.
"look I said what I said cause it was the truth ..OK.. I never meant for it to hurt her even more ,it was never my intention" she said, "i just wanted to help"she muttered under breath.
I actually felt bad cause i know that all Maddy's intention were genuine she just wanted what's best for me, wanted me to be happy ,she was just trying to make it better but in her own way but now I had to do it in my own way. I laid my hands on Ethan's shoulder and squeezed it lightly before letting go and engulfing maddy in a bone crushing hug and right there is were we buried the last 2hrs of the topic that led to all the tension.
"so if you all are done being emotional how bout we plan a birthday party "Lucas stated
"what birthday party?"I asked looking thoroughly confused by that. Everyone looked at Lucas and glared including selene who smacked his head, guess I wasn't supposed to know. Mmmh surprise party... Surprise party....suprise par..ty then everything clicked the reason they were pissed off by Lucas outburst is cause they were throwing me a party. Shit shit shit shit shit
"Uhm am not interested in a party"i stated bluntly.They all looked at me then ethan decided to pull the cute look,heck!all of them decided to pull the cute look.
"Aw come on please, please, pleeeeeaaase, please with a little cherry on top"ethan practically begged the rest were also giving me those looks ,those puppy dog eyes. Well shit.
"Alright fine, you can throw me a party but not too much"i said laughing at the horror on Ethan's face. He smirked and said all too cockily"ooh baby no need for it to be too much you have more than enough right here with you. I laughed at his terrible wordings and just like that the tension was lifted by just a degree but it was still more than enough.
