Lisa POV

"I did it!" I cheered as I ran down to the living room to wave the knife in the air in victory. "I put a spell on it that can kills body jumper. This is for plan B in case Chaeyoung tries to blindside us when the wolves come."

"So you want to let her out of the basement yet still made a knife since you don't trust her?" Jennie asked with confusion and Rosé rolled her eyes at her.

"She's powerless with the bracelets. What's the harm Jen?" Jennie shrugged and went back to watching her TV as Jisoo came out of the kitchen with Chaeyoungs dinner, loving that she had a human to cook for again.

"I'll go bring her." I put the knife away before going downstairs to see Chaeyoung reading a book on her bed. "You ready kiddo?"

"What if they hate me." She frowned as she put the book down. "What if they-"

"Only one way to find out," I held my hand out for hers and she nodded, taking my hand as she got closer to me. "Like I said, they won't hurt you okay?"

"Protect me Lisa please," she whispered to me and I nodded, bringing her close so we could go upstairs to the living room. "Everyone allow a second introduction, this is Chaeyoung."

"I'm Rosé," Rosie skipped over to pull Chaeyoung into a hug. "That's my wife Jisoo."

"I made you food." Jisoo gestured to the table and I was surprised to see a warm smile on Jennie's face. Jennie stood up and Rosé tensed, probably thinking Jennie would hurt Chaeyoung but I knew my wife, she wasn't upset.

"Sorry I kicked you in the woods, but for a second introduction, I'm Jennie, Lisa's wife." She kissed me and led Chaeng to the table so she could eat. I was surprised to see Chaeng immediately talking to Jennie as though she was talking to another friend.

I watched as Jennie laughed at something she said. "No when I was younger I didn't-" I tuned out their conversation and frowned as I thought of something, leaving outside to the backyard so I could have some fresh air.

"Lisa?" I heard Jisoo come outside as she sat next to me. "What's wrong baby sis?"

"I'll have to kill BamBam." I sobbed into her chest as she hugged me. "I hate this. I wish he was never a wolf with a bitch of a mate but he's going to protect her. Just like I'll protect Jennie."

"I can kill him if you want," Jisoo offered and I frowned up at her. "Lisa his death or yours and I know you hate what I'm about to say, but I refuse to lose you. I'll kill him if you don't want to, but I don't think he'd hold back from hurting you."

I nodded, knowing she was right. When you're protecting your mate, there's no room for hesitation. It's natural and nothing would stop you. He won't get a chance to hurt my wife and neither would Joy.

"I'm sorry if that was dramatic," I wiped my eyes but she shook her head, kissing my head lightly before standing up.

"I think we need to hunt. You haven't hunted in four days since Chaeyoung came."

"I can't leave her, I don't know if she can break from the bracelets or-"

"Lisa," she stopped my ranting, "if you're going to want to protect this girl, you can't do that if she feels like a chained animal. Give her a chance to prove herself and if she jumps into one of our wives, we kill her. There's no lose situation for us. She's a teenage girl who I'm sure would love the gesture."

"I want to protect her and I do see that she doesn't want this fight so I'll release her, but if she tries jumping into Jennie, I'll kill her. Twice over." I got up and went inside to see Jennie braiding Chaeng's hair while Rosé did her make up.

"I'm going hunting with Jisoo," I saw Chaeyoung start to panic and I quickly flew to her side to kneel in front of her. "Jennie and Rosé will take care of you okay? Your mother isn't anywhere near by I promise. I'll be quick but I'm going to take off your bracelets. Prove that we can trust you okay?"

She nodded and held her wrists up to me. I chanted before they unlocked on her wrists. I took them and handed them to Jennie.

If she tries anything throw them back on okay? I told her and she nodded at me.

"Please be quick." Chaeng hugged me and I patted her back before the girls continued their makeover. I went outside with Jisoo before we took off towards the woods in a race.

Jennie POV

It had been a few hours since the girls had left. I placed the bracelets in my back pocket, now too bored, as I watched Rosie still giving the little witch a makeover. She was going on about what she liked and her hobbies as Rosé listened to everything she said.

I frowned when she mentioned how her mother treated her like shit and I found myself relating to her.

She just wanted a mother's love but it was obvious her mother would use her for her gift rather than appreciate being able to have her own child. There were moments I found myself wishing more than anything for a baby, but I knew it was impossible.

Lisa would've made an amazing mother, she was kind and soft to the little witch and I wasn't jealous, more so curious as to why this little witch was making my wife so protective of her.

Maybe it was because she, too, could relate to being used for power.

"There! All done!" Rosie clapped as she gestured for Chaeyoung to go look in the mirror. "Gosh I miss when Lisa was human and I'd be able to do Lisa Barbie on her."

"I don't," I shrugged and ducked as she threw a makeup brush at me. I stuck my tongue out at her and Chaeyoung thanked us but then she frowned, looking down at her hands.

"When's Lisa coming home?" She whined with a small pout. Wow. No jealousy?! Am I losing my Jennie touch?!

"She should be coming home soon. She's a hybrid so she needs to feed more," I explained and she sat on the couch, looking almost like a child that wanted their parent home. Rosie and I looked at each other, unsure of how to entertain the little witch.

"So you can do spells too?" Rosie asked and Chaeng shook her head no. "But Lisa can do tons of spells?!"

"Lisa is a lunar witch with a whole covens worth of magic and abilities. I'm an Eclipse witch which means only during an eclipse can I preform more magic than body jumping. I was just born with the ability so that's the only magic I can do."

"But an eclipse happens every few decades?" I saw her smile drop and my eyes widened in realization. "You're mothers planning to keep you for that next eclipse to do something, isn't she?"

I could smell the salty tears as she looked up. "She wants my energy when I'm at my strongest. That's why I need Lisa... to keep me safe and away from her. Please don't let her kill me guys."

We went to her as Rosé pulled her to her chest as I rubbed her back. She started crying and saying Lisa's name and I was starting to freak out as she hyperventilated.

Do I slap her?! Throw water on her to calm down?! I usually smack Rosie and she stops!

Rosie glared at me as she saw my hand rise up, telling me to call Lisa and I immediately pulled out my phone.

"Hello?" *burp

I made a grossed out face at the phone before rolling my eyes. "Babe! Chaeng is freaking out and she keeps calling for you! Get your ass here now!"

"But I was in the middle of-"

"NOW!"

"FINE! On my way. Geez."

I hung up and we only had to wait ten minutes, but it felt like years since I was very on edge to slapping the girl. Yep, Lisa definitely would've been the better mother.

"Chaeng!" Lisa flew to her, pulling her out of Rosé's arms and to her chest. She started chanting something and next thing you know, the girl fell asleep in her arms and I glared at Rosé.

"I told you we should've just slapped to knock her out!"
