"Knows what?" Hindi nawawala ang kunot sa aking noo.

"That you're bound to marry me." He grinned.

"Bakit hindi kayo ang magpakasal? Tutal alam niya pala, ako hindi." Sarkastiko kong tugon sa patutsada niya.

He laughed without humor. At talagang pinipikon ako nitong lalaking 'to? Is this what's bother Tita Clau? May binabalak silang ganito? Really?

"I want you, that's the reason," Sabi niya gamit ang mapanuyang tinig.

"Are you serious, Louis? Anong nakain mo bakit ganyan ang trip mo?" Tumawa ulit siya.

"We didn't have closure years ago, narinig ko ang ginawa sayo ni Julianna dahil sa Knight in shining armor mo," Chismoso naman ata nito? Kahit yung mga ganong bagay inaalam, e niloko niya lang naman ako dati.

"Time heals all the wounds, Louis. Not all relationships deserves a closure, lalo na kung hindi naman talaga pag mamahalan iyon, sakitan lang naman." Inalis ko ang mga tingin sa kanya, he looks like chill. Yung para bang nag ti-trip lang?

"That doesn't mean I didn't love you at all," Mahina niyang sabi.

"Do you call that love, Louis? Really? Love isn't about hurting someone, sa pagkakatanda ko wala namang pagmamahal don, puro pananakit lang ang ginawa mo sakin, at ikaw pa may ganang humarap sakin at magsabi niyan. Medyo makapal naman ata ang mukha mo?" Derederecho kong sabi sa kanya na halos hindi humihinga. Nagpupuyos sa galit ang aking mga tinig.

He just throw me some deadly looks, then I saw in his eyes that he look shocked and hurt at the same time. The door suddenly open.

"Ma'am, emergency meeting po. Lahat ng board members nasa conference room na po." Nagmamadaling tono ni Daisy, agad akong kinabahan. This is unusual. Board meetings are arranged a day before but this is an exemption. Agad akong napatingin kay Louis na nasa gilid ko.

"Wag mo nang sirain ang araw ko," I rolled my eyes and leave the room.

Halos hindi pa nga ako nakakaupo sa swivel chair ko, aalis nanaman ako ng opisina. Agad kaming pumasok ni Daisy sa lift para makababa sa conference room.

"Daisy, what is the scope of this meeting?" I asked her, but when I saw her eyes she was clueless.

"This was short notice, Ma'am." Napataas ako ng kilay, short notice on a Monday morning. Oh, good Lord!

Daisy was still on my back following my steps when we got on the right floor. I immediately open the double doors dahil sa pagmamadali. I didn't wait for the guards to open it. When I entered, I saw all of the board members including my Tito Albert and Tito Robert, Louis' Dad. They all stood up for recognition of my presence.

"Good morning, Kaela! Have a seat." Masayang bati ni Tito Albert, at iginiya ako sa upuan sa kabilang kabisera ng mahabang mesa. I seated. Bumalik ang sinabi ni Louis sa utak ko, bound to marry huh? I stared at my Tito who is having a good time with his colleagues.

Daisy handed me my laptop. She asked if I want something to eat or drinks.

"Coffee will do," she nodded and exit the conference room.

Tito Albert is also seated he's in the front beside Tito Robert. Mukhang maganda ang kanilang gising ngayong araw.

I was browsing to the files in front of me, when I remember my phone. I didn't bring anything when I go here. My phone is on my bag. Bakit ba kasi itong si Louis mahilig manira ng araw?

Speaking of the dare death devil, he entered the room with much aura. All of the people turned his head on him. Suddenly, Tito Albert and Tito Robert stood up.
