"Hello, I'm here to meet Mr. Randy Lopez the Regional Head. Could you please guide me to his cabin?" I asked politely.

"Oh, yes. He is right over there in that cabin." he pointed out. "But he is currently in an interview. So you could maybe wait over there, in the lounge? Someone will be with you shortly."

I silently retreated to the lounge. When I opened it, the place was jam packed. No seat was available for me. "Dang, so many are here for the interview. That's just great." my mind thought. So, I again approached the same worker bee, and told him about the situation.

"Oh man. Well, umm... hang on Miss, I'll check whether there is a spot for you in the conference room perhaps." he replied and went to check one of the cabins. He came back with a gloomy face. So, even that is filled up with people waiting to get in? I could mentally picture my chances meter steadily falling. He just stood there. Finally he went and peeped into the cabin next to Mr. Randy's and said "Miss, why don't you wait up here."

"Sure." I replied, as though I had other options.

As I walked past Mr. Randy's cabin, I eyed the three people inside, through the glass door. I came to the cabin next door. I peeped in through the glass door to check if someone was there. It was empty. I looked up at the golden name plate on the door. It read Victor Russell, Regional Head. I was thankful that this Mr. Victor Russell, whoever he was, did not turn up to work that day. I opened the door and walked in.

There was a leather bag on the table. As I sat down on one if the chairs, I kept eyeing the bag. Does this mean this man was only temporarily out of his cabin? Will he come back any second now? Damnit, what if he kicks me out? I am someone who will be offended by little things. And if something like this were to happen... well. And as though fate willed it, I heard the door open. I turned around, ready to walk out before someone kicks me out. To my surprise it was a woman, who introduced herself as the Regional Human Resource Manager. She inquired why I was currently occupying this empty room.

"That's a weird look she is giving us, precious." my mind said. "Lady thinks we are stepping on her toes or something, precious. Even though it's not her cabin. Stop questioning us. We hates it." I could hear my mind voice protesting.

But I ignored the Gollum in me and explained my situation to the lady. She paused for a long time. The atmosphere was kind of turning into an awkward one. She then quickly left, after informing me that it could take a long time since Mr. Randy's hands were quite full.

Have you ever had the feeling that you just hate someone for no apparent reason? Well, that's what I felt then. I could literally feel the bitchy vibrations radiating from her.

Minutes turned into hours, before I finally left his cabin. I silently thanked Mr. Victor Russell as I walked out. Minutes later, I was in Mr. Randy's cabin. He went through my resume and asked me few questions and decided to forward my resume to the HR for the next round of interview and other formalities.

"I would've sent you to meet the HRM today, Miss Summers but, you are missing your jacket." he remarked with arched eyebrows.

"What? Shit. Yes. How the hell was I so stupid?" I pummeled myself mentally. I had left it in my car.

"Anyway, this time of the year is quite busy. But, I'll schedule your interview sometime this week. You can expect a call then. Thank you for coming." he concluded.

I too thanked him and left the building. As I headed outside, I thanked the worker bee and left. So, what will happen this weekend?

That's way I had pictured the HRM looking at Angelica

That's way I had pictured the HRM looking at Angelica. We all love Rose Byrne, but come on, we hated her character, Helen in Bridesmaids, at first. I mean, she was a bit bitchy :p
