"Maayong pag-abot means maligayang pagdating in our language, baby," ani ni Jairre habang nakangiti ng malawak.

I was still in state of shock when he tour me around the rooftop. We're here in Cebu? God! This is on the top 5 of my bucketlist! Travel to Queen City of the South and it's happening now! And I really love it because I'm with Jairre!

The view in front of us is so breath-taking. Plenty of tall buildings surrounded us with big billboards in front of them. I almost puked when I looked below. This is indeed a city! I can still hear the cars and jeepney honking below but the air up here isn't polluted. The people below are almost shaped like an ant but I can still determine that it's a busy day for them because of their pacing.

We were not in the seashore but the breeze calmed my nerves and made my hair swayed. We were on the top of one of the tallest buildings, I guess. I looked at my back, the sun is setting already and the city lights started to illuminate the area.

"Wow!"

"You like it here?" He's standing beside me, holding my waist.

"I don't like it, Jairre..." He looked at me, gulat na gulat. I shooked my head and smiled widely. "I love it!" I exclamed before jumping to hug him. "Thank you for bringing me here."

"Anything for you, baby," he said and hugged me back.

It's almost 6 in the evening when we decided to go down. Jairre said that this is his Tito Reynald's hotel and we will be staying at the penthouse. We're not using the elevator because according to Jairre, the penthouse is located one floor away where we landed.

"Our things are already there, pinakuha ko na kanina."

I just nodded to him. I was busy typing a text for Mama and for Tessa. I told Mama that I'm already here and I informed Tessa na nandito ako sa Cebu kasama si Jairre. Actually, this is our dream. Plano naming magkaibigan na kapag nakapagtrabaho at nagkapera na kami ay pupunta kami dito. Kaya lang nauna na ako sa kaniya. I stopped walking when I read her reply.

Ang daya mo ah! Ba't ka nauna? Hmmp. Tsaka kasama mo boylet mo? Hindi mo man lang ako sinabihan, edi sana pinadalhan kita ng nighties diyan. Nag-honeymoon na pala kayo!

I felt my cheeks heated. What the hell Tessa! A-Anong honeymoon? L-Like the married couples? What?! Memories of us, kissing, flashed into my mind again. I covered my face with both my hands. This is not right! I should get a hold of myself!

I felt Jairre held my arms. "Baby, are you okay? What happened?" he asked. Concern is very evident on his voice.

I jumped upon his touch. I felt something static. Something that started from his hands down to my core. Binaba ko ang mga kamay kong nakatabon sa mukha at tiningnan siya. The strange feeling worsened when I saw him so close to me and biting his lips. God! Why am I acting like this? Why am I feeling this way?

"A-Ah... wala, m-may naisip l-lang a-ako," I stuttered. Iniwas ko ang tingin ko sa kaniya at inunahan siya sa paglalakad. Ayaw kong mahalata niya ako. Baka ano pang sabihin niya.

"Baby... where are you going?"

I stopped my track and didn't look back at him. "Sa penthouse? Tara na."

Magpapatuloy na sana ako sa paglalakad nang marinig ko siyang tumawa ng mahina. Nakakunot ang noong hinarap ko siya.

"Bakit ka tumatawa diyan?" ani ko habang nakahalukipkip.
