Chapter 25: Mind Over Power

Ayce's Pov

Mages are eliminated. And now were here on the arena.
Today we will play a game called Mind Over Power.

For today we will play as our position in this team.

"Today we have this game called Mind over Power. You have to remember your positions on your team. Save your members as you play mind over power. We have set of questions about the history of this dream world and once you answered correctly your safe to play while if you didn't you'll be a captive. Always remember Mind over Power or you'll never notice that it's already game over."

This game is interesting huh?

"We have 3 groups as of now. Sino kaya ang matitira at sino ang matatanggal?"

Luminga-linga ako sa paligid at nakita kong naghihiyawan ang mga tao dito sa loob ng arena.

"Go! Wafers!"

"Go Coasters!"

"You can do this Dreamers!"

Napuno na naman ng hiyawan ang arena.

"Ready Conquerers?"

Hindi kami nagpakita nang kaba.

"Start now."

Humilera na kami sa kaniya-kaniyang pwesto.

Draven/Ako/Earthaine/Aqua/Lhey/Jillian/Gravin

katapat namin ang magtatanong at sa kanan namin ay ang hilera ng mga Wafers sa kaliwa naman ay ang Coasters.

"Queen Lucymeira build a school called?"

"Beguiler, Dreamers." They have a wheel that contains our position and group name.

"Dream high, sir." I looked at Lhey and she's calm.

"You may now proceed to the safe zone."

Nagpatuloy ang laban at wala pang napupunta sa endangered zone. Iilan na lamang kaming natitira. Apart sa dreamers. Tatlo sa Coasters. Apart rin sa Wafers.

Ngunit biglang nabunot ang isa sa Wafers at sa kasamaang palad ay hindi niya nasagot ang nakalaang tanong sa kaniya. Sumunod sa kaniya ang dalawa pa sa Coasters at kaming mga Dreamers naman ay dalawa na lamang lahat sila ligtas na maliban sa amin ni Draven.

"Arch Mage, Dreamer, The guy."

"What happen between the 5 societies of this world? Why is there only 4 societies in here?"

"The Grimers decided to build their own kingdom because of their leaders hatred and greed of powers. They are full of darkness that turned them to evil. That's why the other 4 societies are left in here. Because they are all the light."

Confident siya sa sinagot niya. Kahit na kinakabahan rin ako dahil sanposibleng itanong sa akin pinanatili ko ang walang ekspresyong mukha ko.
"Proceed to the Safe Zone."

"Beguiler, Wafer."

"Who's the headmistress of the Sirius?"

"The former Queen Lucilia Meira Levinia."

Dumadami na ang nasa safe zone.

"You may now proceed to the safe zone."

Iilan na kaming natira dito. Paniguradong matatawag na ako.

"Arch Mage, Dreamer." Ayan na nga.

"Who's the recent Queen's Apprentice?" Mabuti na lamang at nagbasa-basa ako tungkol sa ganitong bagay.

"Fierra Hailendra," I confidently said.

"You're right. Proceed to the safe zone."

Yes! I'm safe, We're safe!

"You're now going to proceed the battle between mind and your powers to save your comrades. The Dreamers will be waiting for the one group who save more members, Goodluck and enjoy the game, proceed." Nagpunta kami sa isang gilid para manuod sa kanila.

"This game is called the Mind over Power game level 2. You'll be given a choice, think before you act. Goodluck."

Base on their expressions I can see they both wanted to win.

"Coasters vs Wafers Round 1."

"Choose wisely, Mind or Power."

"Power!" Sigaw ng Coasters.

"Mind!" Sigaw naman ng Wafers.

"I allow you to do something to save them in the endangered zone. Coasters use your powers. Wafers use your mind." They didn't listened to the rules huh?

Bigla na lamang sumugod ang Coasters sa endangered zone. While wafers are thinking about what they should do.

Bigla biglang sumarado ang endangered zone kung saan nakatayo ang Coasters. Biglang bumuhos ang isang bucket ng tubig sa kanila.

"What is that?!" Gulat na tanong ng Arch Mage ng Coasters

"Remember you choose your power. Look at them. They did it. They use their mind to think of a safe way to get their comrades out of that endangered zone."

I noticed their way of fighting. They didn't listened.

"We now have a rival for the Dreamers. This time it's the Dreamers vs. Wafers. The Coasters are now eliminated. Goodluck to the both groups. Remember wala nang mae-eliminate. This Level 3 is to know the Champion on this Game. Shall we start?"

"Yes dreamers are ready." Kalmado parin kami.

"Wafers are ready."

"In this game it's not like the game we played earlier. Now, you can do whatever you want just to win this. This game is now entitled as Team Battle."

"Goodluck everyone. Fight each other to win."

Nagsimula nang umatake ang Wafers sa amin.

Nagpakawala ang isa sa kanila nang apoy, na napigilan naman ni Princess Aqua. Unti-unti kaming nagform ng formation. Nasa gitna kami in Draven habang nakapalibot naman sa amin sila Lhey.

Patuloy sila sa pag atake habang nagsimula na naming maglaho si Lhey. Isang bata naman na sugatan ang aming namataan sa likod ng Wafers.

Napangiti naman ako ng palihim. We're trained for this.

Ang iba sa kanila ay napatigil sa pag-atale at tinulungan si Lhey.

Tsk. Tsk. Wrong move Wafers.

Unti-unti kong pinalabas ang mga yelo. Gumawa ako ng mga tali.

Nakita ko pang nag-cast ng spell si Draven kasabay noon ay ang bilis niya sa pagtakbo tungo sa direksyon ng kalaban. Walang tigil sa pagdepensa sina Jillian at Gravin at sina Princess, at Earthaine naman ay patuloy sa page atake. Pinakawalan ko ang mga taling pinalabas ko at unti-unti na itong bumubulusok papunta sa Wafers, nahuli sila ng tali at hindi sila nakapiglas, nahuli namin sila.

Biglang lumabas ang tagapagpalaro at nag-anunsyo na tapos na ang laban.

"It's all done now, I declare the Dreamers as the winner of this game. You can now rest, you still have a game tomorrow."

Matapos iyon ay pinakawalan ko na ang enerhiya na inilagay ko sa mga tali at natagtag naman ito.

This game made me realized that we should think before we act.

I remember our positions in this team, and we need cooperation, teamwork, trust and most of the time we need to use our minds over our power. Kasi hindi maganda na nagpapa-dalos-dalos ka, maaari lang mapahamak gaya nang nangyari sa Coasters kanina.
