"Callie?" A second voice caught my attention.
I turned around and Ashley didn't appear to like the look on my face, I wouldn't either if you had seen how pissed off, I looked. "No. You are not ruining my night ether."
Here I am standing face to face with the parents of the fucking year...decade...millennium. Excuse my lack of enthusiasm seeing these distasteful human beings, my birth givers.
"Callie, do not be rude to your mother."
"I will speak to her in any way I see fit, daddy dearest." The sarcasm was dripping out of me. I'm not letting these fuckers ruin my night.
"Do not be so patronising."
I stormed up to my dad and stared in his eyes. "Go fuck yourself."
"Language, Callie!" My mother finally finds her vocal cords, whoop de fucking do...
"New flash mother, I can speak however the hell I want to." I feel a familiar body standing next to me and hearing her voice makes it all too real.
"Callie, babe, calm down."
"Oh, dear lord...another one of those lesbians." My dad spat out. I see red. Like blood, livid red.
"Fuck you father. Do not speak to my girlfriend in that way." I felt Ashley slip her hand into mine, I assume it was for reassurance more than anything.
"Still carpet munching then daughter?" Where the hell did my father get off learning these lines.
"At least I know how to satisfy a woman, you condescending prick."
"Callie..." Again, my mother with a voice ladies and gentlemen. Ugh.
"As for you, you call yourself a mother?! A parent should love their child no matter what. You two pieces of shit abandoned me after I told you about Alistair..." Looking at them up and down and with a scoff, I realised that they were in their best attire. "Oh, you were at the blue-eyed boys wedding, weren't you? You do realise his wife was fucked properly by a woman before Alistair?"
"Why you little..." My father's voice and actions were cut off by another voice.
"Callie?"
"Kacey..." Kacey pushed passed her parents and threw her arms around my neck and I held on to her for dear life.
"Are you okay Callie? I've not seen you in like forever."
"Well, you can blame your parents for that one sis." I removed her from my grasp, and she looked at me, squinting her eyes.
"Don't you mean our parents?"
"No, they are not my parents. They just conceived me and got rid when they couldn't handle honest truths." I looked to the ground, I can't lose my resolve, not now, not when I am fired up.
"What do you mean?"
"They can tell you why they disowned me, not me." I turned my head as music caught my attention and I knew my wicked smirk was working on my face. "Fiona?"
"Yes Cal?"
"Let's go and gate crash a wedding."
Watching Fiona break into a massive grin. "Oooh, I'm drunk and brave enough to do that."
"Cal..." I could hear Sarah's worried voice from behind me.
"No Sarah. This is about facing HIM and showing him that he has no fucking power over me anymore."
"Babe..." I then see Ashley looking at me, encouraging me most likely not to go through with this idea.
"Babe? Callie?" I looked back at Kacey. I'm surprised I've not got whiplash with all this turning about to speak to those who are speaking to me.
