We need to talk...

Callie

I meant what I said last night to Ashley. I know I tend to be the more dominant one when it comes to our intimacy, but I want to trust her completely in and out of the bedroom. I'm there when we aren't in the bedroom with the trust, just not in it.

I've always been open with Ashley when it comes to our love life and I hope I didn't freak her out last night with that revelation She is so adorable when she is asleep. I could watch her forever, but she hates that and freaks out sometimes and tells me to stop being a creeper.

Anyway, I've made her breakfast in bed this morning. Probably a sign of the 'we need to talk' from me when I do this. I kissed her lightly on her nose, making her twitch it and making me smile. Then gently on her lips." Wake up babe."

"Ugh....why? I was having the best sleep ever."

"I made you breakfast in bed." Her eyes shot open. She quickly sat up and immediately held her hands to head.

"Oh hell, the rooms spinning."

"I've got you plenty of water and pain killers if you need them."

"You are a darling. But you don't seem to hungover Callie." I really shouldn't say that my girlfriend looks rough, but she does. It shows that she had a good night out though.

"I'm not. You lot were a few drinks ahead of me last night."

"But I wasn't drunk, at least I don't think I was." Ashley took a long drink of water and smacked her lips together at the refreshment hitting her.

"You were tipsy more than drunk. Plus, you don't perform well when you're drunk..." Ashley playfully slapped my arm.

"I didn't hear you complain."

"Oh, I would never complain about that babe, not with you."

"I think we have a pretty active and healthy intimate lifestyle. But did I hear you correctly last night?" I was wondering when this was going to come up, so to speak.

"You did. How do you feel about it?"

"I'm not sure. I guess I'm just that used to you being dominant that I've never thought of being in that position." I always encourage Ashley to be a little dominant in the bedroom, it helps me feel even more desired.

"I'm not saying we have to try it right now, today, this week. I just wanted to put it out there, that's all."

"I get it and I'm willing to try, for you Callie."

"Well, let's make a pact."

"Okay..."

"If either of us is uncomfortable, we draw a line under it and continue the way we do things now." I'm not wanting to freak her out. I am all for pushing boundaries, but it needs to be taken at a pace that we are both comfortable with.

"Okay, I'm game if you are."

"Great. Now eat your breakfast." We smiled at each other and tucked into breakfast. Nothing fancy, just poached eggs and toast but it was delicious.

"I don't want to freak you out but since we are being open with one another, I got to ask you something."

"Sure, fire away." I can see her thinking. I know, I know. You can't really see someone thinking but watching her facial expressions whilst she is thinking is a tell-tale sign.

"I know it's only been six weeks since you moved in..."

"Yeah..."

"So far, it's been like a dream come true." I can see her inner turmoil all over her face.
