We sat together at the table enjoying breakfast with one another and of course, I continued to wind up my friends.

"You do realise Fiona, that we will never hear the end of this?" Sarah spoke, sounding exasperated with all the banter.

"I'm beginning to see that now..."

"What made you two get it on?" I wanted to know. After all, I seen this coming from miles away.

"Alcohol." Fiona replied meekly.

"Being turned on by the noises you two were making."

As usual, Ashley acts embarrassed. "Oh my god, I am so sorry." I know I'm not.

"Sometimes Callie, you are such a bitch." Sarah glared at me in such a way she wants me to drop it all.

"But last night, that was epic. It was like the ultimate showdown." Fiona's eyes glistened at the memory of the night before, her excitement, despite her tiredness apparent.

"I will not regret it. Yes, part of me is sorry for ruining a woman's wedding day, but the other part of me isn't since he ruined my life for so long." I took a drink of my water, relishing in the cold liquid hitting my throat.

"I think it has given you the closure that you need for the situation. However, it will not take away the hurt it caused you, but you will be less affected by his actions now that he has claimed responsibility."

A knock on the door brought us out of our conversation and Sarah stood up and went and answered the door. "Uhm, Callie, it's for you." I stood up, a little unimpressed that our breakfast had been disturbed.

"Hey Callie..." My little sister was standing at the door.

"Kacey...hey, come on in." Before I knew it, she threw her arms around me and gave me a massive hug. "Whoa, easy tiger. Are you okay?"

"I'm okay. Are you though?"

"I'm grand sis, never better. Are you hungry? There is still plenty of breakfast to go around." My wee sister is here. I cannot believe it.

"Sounds good." I took her through to the kitchen where the three women in my life were chatting away and having their breakfast.

"I guess introductions are required. This is Sarah, who answered the door to you." I placed my hand on Sarah's shoulder and gave it a squeeze.

"Hey Kacey, make yourself at home."

"Thanks Sarah." She offered her a small smile and sat down on a spare seat.

"Sarah has been my best friend for years and has got me out of many sticky spots in my life. Next, we have Fiona..."

"Hey Kacey." Her accent is really strong for some reason today.

"As you can tell by her twang, she is from Glasgow and my former housemate from down there."

"I'm pleased to meet you Fiona." My sister, so polite. Don't get me wrong, I can be polite in circumstances, but my character is, well my own.

"Like wise honey."

"Last but not least, this is Ashley. Ashley without a doubt has my heart completely in her hands."

"Well, no pressure there babe. Hi Kacey, it's nice to meet you, properly this time." Ashley smiles at Kacey with her kilowatt smile, which I knew would make Kacey at ease.

"Lovely to meet you Ashley."

I dished out Kacey some breakfast and we continued to enjoy breakfast with one another. Looking over at Kacey, I could see she felt like a deer caught in headlights. "Are you okay sis?"
