Losing My Train of Thought

3rd. Person POV

The cold wind and snow pelted their faces. The train sped on as they stood on top of it, taking out the grimm that flew after us. Ruby used her scythe to shoot down and slice a large grimm.

Ruby: Ha! Got one! Now who's next?

Another grimm tried to swoop down behind Ruby, but was taken out by Weiss. She used her glyphs to propel herself towards a group of flying grimm.

Weiss: Thank me later.

She then leapt in the air, using dust to freeze a pair of grimm. Further back on the train, Blake used her weapon to wrangle another grimm in place.

Blake: Incoming.

As the grimm struggled to break free, Yang sliced it's head off with her lightsaber. As the grimm disintegrated, Yang and Blake stood by each other.

Yang: Good to see you're not rusty.

They both smirked as they went to help out the others. Further up on the train, Ren, Nora, (Y/N), Sariel, and Oscar all climbed up to the roof of the train.

Nora: Why is it always something?

Ruby: Just keep them towards the back!

Ren then flung Nora towards a large Grimm. She used the momentum to smash it with her hammer, killing it instantly. (Y/N) and Sariel stood back to back, using the Force to smash grimm into the cliffside.

Sariel: Good to have you back, man.

(Y/N): Just like old times, huh?

Sariel: You got that right!

Oscar: TUNNEL!

They all looked to the front of the train to see a tunnel fast approaching. They all scrambled to get back inside. As they ran across the train's roof, Weiss was knocked off balance by one of the grimm's fireballs. She would have fallen off the train if it weren't for Ruby grabbing her arm and pulling her back to her feet.

Ruby: Thank me later!

Ruby then used her semblance to quickly carry her and Weiss back into the train, just as the tunnel passes over them.

Meanwhile at White Fang headquarters.

WFM 1: I can't believe he turned his back on us. He just-

She was cut off by the large main door opening.

Adam: Step away from my throne. We have work to do.

WFM 2: We? Everyone knows what you did! You abandoned your brothers at Haven.

Adam: Step... away... from my-

WFM 3: We are not taking orders from you anymore. We heard you folded the moment you got sass from the Belladonna girl. I guess she's got more control over you than-

The sound of a lightsaber igniting was heard.

WFM 3: W- What?

Sounds of fighting could be heard as the camera panned to see dismembered bodies littering the throne room. Adam sat on the High Leader's throne, deep in thought.

Adam: The Belladonna girl... Blake...

Adam got angry and slashed at the throne with his lightsaber, cutting part of it off. He suddenly heard a voice behind him. It was the same shadow that gave him his "gifts"

???: You have failed, Mr. Taurus... I expected so much more from you.

Adam: We couldn't have anticipated the attack to be thwarted so easily.
