Weiss POV

As I continued to walk down one of the many long halls of the manor, I encountered one of the butlers.

Butler: Ms. Schnee, is everything okay?

Weiss: I'm fine, thank you. Keep up the great work.

I then walked past them and made my way into Jacques' office, closing the door behind me. I was then met with the voice of my mother from directly behind me.

Willow: Hello, darling.

3rd. Person POV

Winter leaned up against a wall, collecting her thoughts. To her surprise, Penny walked out from around the corner to check up on her.

Penny: Are you okay?

Winter: I'll be fine, I just let my emotions get the better of me.

Penny: What do you mean?

Winter: You wouldn't understand.

Penny: Oh... right...

Winter: Oh, no, no. What I mean is... this place holds a lot of memories for me specifically. I thought I was in control, but you heard me. I sounded like a petulant child.

Penny: I thought you sounded fine. You were just speaking from your heart.

Winter: And that is precisely the problem. I should have just stayed in line.

Penny: I guess you're right... I don't understand.

With that, Penny walked down the hall away from Winter. Shortly after that, (Y/N) walked around the same corner that Penny had earlier. He approached Winter and leaned up against the wall next to Winter.

Winter: Is there something you need?

(Y/N): I heard what you said. I should warn you about this. You can't let either take control.

Winter: Either of what?

(Y/N): You shouldn't let your emotions get out of control, nor should you hide your emotions forever. I know personally that both are dangerous pits to fall into. Letting your emotions take control is a path to the Dark Side, and hiding your emotions permanently leads you to an eventual path of hubris, which will cause you to fall. You should balance your emotions with your self-control, but not let one take precedence over the other.

Winter sighed and looked slightly downwards. She didn't say anything after that.

(Y/N): Have a nice night...

(Y/N) then walked back to where the rest of the Jedi were.

Weiss POV

Willow: I'm sorry I couldn't come down for your party, I'm afraid I'm not feeling well.

Weiss: Umm... It's okay, Mom... it's fine...

Willow: What... are you doing in your father's office?

Weiss: Just looking for something I left...

Willow: That's right, you... left... You left.

I began to walk towards her.

Weiss: I need to use father's computer.

Willow: Why?

Weiss: Because I think he may have done something... Something wrong.

Willow: I thought we all simply assumed that at this point.

Weiss: Yes, well, some of us are trying to do something about it.

Willow: I can see that... especially considering your newer skills.

She gestured to my lightsaber which was clipped to my hip.

Weiss: How did you-

Willow: I know more than you think, Weiss... I have my own ways of knowing.

She then picked up her scroll from the table and showed me a live feed of a camera in the very room we were in. I faintly gasped in surprise.

Weiss: You put a camera in here?

Willow: I put them in every room of this house, for our safety, in case I ever needed to-

She let out a sigh.

Willow: You haven't come back to stay, have you?

I paused before answering.

Weiss: No.

Willow: Good...

My mother began to tear up. She wiped away her tears and continued speaking.

Willow: A man came by... I'm afraid your father may be involved in something more dangerous than he realizes.

She handed me her scroll with a recording paused on the screen.

Willow: No matter what happens, Weiss, please don't forget about your brother.

Weiss: Whitley wants nothing to do with me.

Willow: Of course not... you left him alone... with us...

She exited the room and I played the recording.

Weiss: Who are you?

Meanwhile in Mantle

3rd. Person POV

Watts stood on top of a building, looking at the city during the long night. He then pressed a button on his scroll, causing the heating grid to deactivate. The rain that had previously been falling stopped falling, and snow began to slowly fall from the sky. He dropped his umbrella off of the side of the building. As he began to leave, he saw an older man in a black cloak staring at him from the other side of the roof.

Watts: Can I help you?

Darth Strahl: Just a passive observer. I wished to see what my apprentice was up against.

Watts: It was you! You were the one who saved the boy.

Darth Strahl: I guess you are as smart as they say.

Watts: So what now? Do you kill me?

Darth Strahl: No... Killing you now would be a mercy. Darth Saeris has requested that he kill you himself... and trust me when I say this... he will make you suffer.

Darth Strahl then walked down the stairs and into the building.

Watts: He can try...

The screen then cuts to black.

(Y/N) narration: A new era is about to begin.
