Ruby POV

We all sat at the dinner table and caught up with each other over some good food.

Yang: Hey Ruby, who's the new girl.

Ruby: Oh, yeah! That's-

Sariel: My name is Sariel Astra. It's nice to meet you two. Ruby told me a lot about you.

Weiss: The pleasure is all mine. So, since you clearly aren't from Beacon. What school did you train at.

Sariel: Me? Oh I didn't go to any of the academies.

Weiss: You didn't? So how did you learn to fight.

Sariel: I was trained by a Jedi master.

Yang spit out her drink.

Yang: Wait, you're a Jedi?

Sariel: Indeed I am. In fact, I personally knew your master.

Weiss: You know (Y/N)!

Ren: There's... a lot that we need to catch you up on.

We continued to talk about anything and everything that happened when we were apart. Eventually, Yang stood up showing off her new arm. We all gasped with different levels of intrigue.

Yang: It's not a replacement for the real thing, but I'll make sure to make good use of it.

Sariel: Amazing.

Ren: Incredible.

I was completely mesmerized by the arm. I zoomed over to get a better look at it.

Ruby: And it's just as strong?

Yang: Sure is.

Suddenly, a loud thud was heard on the table. We turned to see Nora with her arm placed on it in an arm wrestling position.

Nora: Wanna bet!

Weiss: Nora, please. Now's not the time.

Weiss had barely finished her sentence when the two started to go at it.

Sariel: Let's go Nora! Get her good.

Ren: Come on, you can do this. Show them what Team JNPR is made of.

Ruby: COME ON, SIS! You can't lose to a girl in a skirt!

Weiss: You wear a skirt, Ruby...

Ruby: WEISS, YOU'RE NOT CHEERING LOUD ENOUGH!

Nora: It definitely feels like the original, I'll give you that!

Yang: Yep, but it does have some new features.

Nora: Ha, oh yeah?

A mechanical click was heard as the arm went shooting out of her sleeve, sending Nora flying into the wall with it.

Sariel: So... who won?

Nora groaned and looked at her hand. It still held Yang's arm. She looked at it and steamed, throwing it away from her. Yang caught it and laughed hysterically. We finished ALL of the food that we made. We were all more than full at the end of it.

Weiss: So, Sariel, you said that Ruby told you a lot about us while we were gone. What exactly did she tell you?

Her eyes squinted as she looked at me.

Sariel: Well, she told me about how you used to be a total Ice Queen.

Weiss: Ruby, I am hurt.
