3rd. Person POV

Ironwood had been called out to the landing pad for a very specific reason. One of his Ace Operatives had apparently arrested Steele Lockharte, the Lieutenant of Salem turned Sith Apprentice. As the ramp on the airship lowered, Marrow, Sariel, Ruby, Penny, Ren, and Nora exited.

Marrow: General Ironwood sir.

Ironwood: What was this about a prisoner.

Marrow then turned towards the airship.

Marrow: Bring him out!

The sound of boots stomping against metal could be heard from inside the airship. As more and more of this dark figure came into view, Ironwood got surprised by it more and more. As the Sith in handcuffs, and the two soldiers escorting him, reached the bottom of the ramp, General Ironwood walked a few steps forward.

Marrow: Be careful, sir.

The general ignored Marrow's words of caution and continued to approach the sith. They stared at each other with different expressions. Ironwood's expression was a stoic one, while Saeris' was a confident, yet menacing smirk.

Ironwood: Steele Lockharte... we meet at last.

Saeris: A confrontation which was not required, but one that has benefits for both parties.

Ironwood turned to the soldiers.

Ironwood: Get him into an interrogation room.

Soldier 1: Yes sir.

The soldiers hauled him off and into the building.

Ironwood: How were you able to get ahold of him?

Marrow: He just... turned himself over... he said he wanted to speak with you.

Ironwood: Did he say what he wished to speak about?

Marrow: No sir, but he said he had valuable information. When I refused to bring him to you, he suggested that I bring him to you in cuffs, so that he'd pose no threat.

Ironwood: Then... let's grant him his wish.

Marrow: But sir-

Ironwood: Marrow... this is final.

Marrow paused for a moment.

Marrow: Yes, sir!

Later on in the interrogation room

Darth Saeris POV

I sat patiently at the table inside the quiet room I was placed in. I waited for just under an hour before the door opened and the general himself.

Ironwood: You came here to speak with me, yes?

Saeris: I don't think you would be here with me had I not.

Ironwood: Then tell me. What information do you have for me that could be so important.

Saeris: I'm here to tell you... that I am willing to cooperate with your cause.

Ironwood: What?

Saeris: It's self explanatory. Salem's lieutenants have infiltrated the kingdom and I wish to help rid it of them.

Ironwood: And what reason do I have to believe you. The man that you serve has killed dozens of my men. Why should I believe that you will be no different, especially considering that your previous loyalty lied with the enemy I have had for much longer!

Saeris: I do not speak for my master at the moment. I have my own mind, in case you didn't know.

Ironwood grunted in frustration and I simply smirked.

Ironwood: What can you possibly offer me that can make trusting you worth the risk?

Saeris: You don't need to worry about risks, General Ironwood. I will have you know that, like all sith apprentices, I intend to kill my master once I become powerful enough. So I offer you this, you give me your trust, and I promise you that Lord Strahl will be dead before you know it.

Ironwood paused for a minute before sitting down in the chair opposite to mine.

Ironwood: What else do you want? Because I know damn well that you won't settle for just that.

Saeris: Catching on, I see. Okay, you got me... I want a full pardon. I can't be walking around the city with an active arrest warrant on me, now can I?

Ironwood sighed and thought about this for a moment.

Ironwood: So long as you continue to actively support Atlas in the fight against Salem, your warrant will be nullified.

I chuckled quietly.

Saeris: Then we are in agreement. Now, if you excuse me, these restraints are getting a bit tight.

I used a small jolt of force lightning to short circuit the cuffs and then pulled them off, snapping them in two. Ironwood looked at this, his eyes wide.

Saeris: To further add to the proof that I came here willingly.

I stood up and exited the room.

Saeris: And thank you... for the hospitality...
