Ruby POV

Ruby: Come on guys, if we pick up the pace, we'll hit the next town before sunset.

Ren: Assuming it's still there.

Ruby: Of course it's still there, this one's supposed to be pretty big. Hee- gan- bain- a...

Ren: Higanbana. It's a well protected village with a popular inn.

Nora: Which means no camping in the rain!

Ruby: See, everything's gonna be fine. We've had ups and downs but it could be worse! I honestly thought we'd see more Grimm.

Ren: As did I.

I laughed a little at what he said. Not because of what he said, but because of what it reminded me of.

Ruby: You know, Ren. The more I'm around you, the more you start to sound like (Y/N). You both talk like a wise old ninja master.

Ren: Well, he is a Jedi Master.

Nora: I guess our luck is finally turning around.

Timeskip to night.

We got the room in the inn for a night. We got settled in as we prepared to get to sleep. I decided to strike up a conversation.

Ruby: Hey, guys.

Ren: Yes, Ruby?

Ruby: Do you think we'll see the others again?

Ren: Which others do you mean?

Ruby: All of them! Blake, Yang, Weiss, (Y/N).

Ren: Ruby, Yang is your sister! Of course you'll see her again.

Ruby: But what about Blake Weiss and (Y/N)?

Ren: I- I'm sure you'll see them again.

Nora: Ren... what's wrong?

Ruby: You... don't think we'll see them again, don't you?

Ren: I- I- don't know... but for now, I should meditate. I don't want my abilities to go to waste.

Ruby: I will too.

Nora: Speak for yourselves, I'm going to bed!

(Y/N) POV

(Y/N): I should meditate, just hope that any of them are listening, I should send a message.

Ruby POV

Ren and I started to meditate, letting the force surround us. We found ourselves somewhere strange. The room rocked around ever so slightly. We could see (Y/N) meditating in front of us.

Ruby: (Y/N)?

He looked up to us and smiled.

(Y/N): Someone was listening.

Ruby: What do you mean? Where are you? What are you trying to do?

(Y/N): I'm okay. I'm with Blake, we're on a ship. We are headed somewhere to finish her Dark Side training.

Ruby: Where? Where are you going?

(Y/N): That is not important. What's important is where you are going.

Ren: We are headed to Haven Academy... in Mistral.

(Y/N): Alright, you will continue your journey to Haven. I will reconvene with you when I can, hopefully with Blake as well.

Ren: I look forward to it.

Ren then faded away.

Ruby: I guess I better get going too.
