Counterattack!

(Y/N) POV

The airship landed and we all stepped out. I, being the first one out, saw the state of the Legion's forces before anyone else. The droids were in various states of damage and the Clones were noticeably lower in numbers. As I walked towards them, I was approached by Commander Brush.

Brush: General (L/N). It's a pleasure to meet you face to face.

(Y/N): Commander Brush. Are these the remaining forces?

Brush: Yes. of the 100 clones that arrived here, 76 remain. Even more droids have been scrapped along with them.

(Y/N): We have enough units available to launch a counterattack. We'll make a final push to the crater. Once we get there, we'll be able to establish a defensive perimeter.

Brush: Do you really think we can pull that off?

(Y/N): The Legion vs Atlas is more or less an even fight. But that's why we're here. We're gonna tip the balance. Now, I want you to get your men armed and ready to attack.

Brush: Yes sir.

The clone commander then returned to his men, giving them their new orders. Sariel then walked up right next to me.

Sariel: Do you really think this is gonna work?

(Y/N): Yes. Like I said before, the Jedi fighting alongside the Legion and 574th is just the thing they needed to make this kind of move possible.

Sariel: I trust you, (Y/N). If you think it'll work, then so do I.

Timeskip 20 minutes

Brush: Sir, our forces are ready to move!

(Y/N): Good.

Brush: So do we move out?

 (Y/N): Not yet, there's one more thing we need to do before that.

I gestured to ZK-RY.

(Y/N): ZK, I need you to broadcast a message.

Meanwhile in Atlas

3rd. Person POV

Officer: General Ironwood, sir. Mantle is receiving a broadcast from the Legion.

Ironwood grew surprised by this.

Ironwood: Can you disrupt it.

Officer: We're trying to sir, but it is growing increasingly difficult.

Ironwood grunted in frustration.

Ironwood: Show me this transmission.

Officer: Yes sir.

The officer used their scroll to show Ironwood the transmission. On the screen, Ironwood saw (Y/N) speaking to the people of Mantle.

(Y/N): People of Mantle, I speak to you on behalf of the Legion. The Droid and Clone forces, who have defended you when Atlas wouldn't, are establishing a safe zone in the crater. Here, you will be safe, from both Grimm and Military alike. We will be making a march to the crater from the east. If you can fight, we encourage you to fight with us. The Legion has the capabilities to defeat Salem, but if we cannot even fight her forces because of Atlas forces, then we stand no chance at all. We must unite, regroup, and resist. For the good of all Remnant. And if General Ironwood is listening, I have a message for you. Do you really think that acting in this way will benefit anyone? We have discovered a way to stop Salem... for good. Yes, General, she can be killed. But it can only happen if we cease this needless fighting.
