New Year's Eve
There's a big New Years event happening at the hospital tonight and I'm currently at Brian's apartment we aren't together but we've been seeing eachother since that night "I do not want to go tonight" I said a little too loud that Brian heard
"Why? We can always sneak away into an oncall room" he whispered into my ear seductively, I looked up at him and giggled he kissed me
"That doesn't sound too bad" I said, he sat next to me putting his arm around me I snuggled into him
Hours passed and we are on our way to the party, we walk in hand in hand together maybe like a couple "Brian you made it" a girl said to him I think I met her in the cafeteria
"and you brought Sarah right? I'm Lisa" she held out her hand I shook it nicely
"We should get going it was nice seeing you Lisa" Brian and I walked away from her
"She seemed nice" I told him
"Yeah, but all she wants to do is sleep with everyone. at the beginning of intern year she tried every way to get with me but the only person I wanted is here with me right now" he told me, I kissed him
We were greeted by my parents "hey guys, we weren't expecting you guys here" mom said
"We wanted to know all the fuss about it so we decided come" I laughed, both of my parents smiled
"What?" I said, I looked at them and Brian
"Nothing, just have fun tonight" they walked away
"Okay that was weird" I said looking at Brian who was also smiling
"Did I miss something? Is there something on my face" I wiped my face with my hand, he removed my hand from my face
"No no, follow me" He took my hand again and guided me to the cat walk near the chiefs office
"this isn't an ideal spot but I couldn't wait any longer, it's almost midnight and I met you about three years ago when I first saw you I thought you were the most beautiful girl on this planet I knew you were the one when I first laid my eyes on, when I lost you I was broken I felt lost without and now that I have you back I have one question to ask you" he said, then got down on one knee my hand over my mouth I'm crying so many emotions going through my body
"Sarah Katherine Shepherd, will you marry me?"
