Landon came to a screech as he pulled up in front of the house that was supposed to be there. He hoped out of the car and raced towards the rubble but was stopped by two police officers as the fire department put out the remains of the blaze. He continued to struggle against the officers before he gave up in defeat as he watched the roof collapse in and an out blast of smoke poured out causing everyone to shield their eyes. The two officers lead him over to a squad car and sat him down in a squad car allowing him time to collect himself, because in the mist of his struggle tears began to pour down his face. He looked up as one of the officers came back over and questioned him about his whereabouts. He went thru the standard procedure and was asked if he had someone to call in order to come and pick him up. He shook his head and said that he was capable of driving himself home. He hopped in his truck and headed downtown towards his old hit spot. He pulled up in front of the old warehouse and walked thru the side door in the alley.
Everyone’s head turned as they heard the door bang open. They all reached for their guns, but chilled when they saw it wasn’t anyone but the boss walking thru. They all noticed the way he stalked towards the back. They noticed the tears that were still coming down his face. Those that were unfortunate enough to get a look at his eyes saw all the soul that was once in their lively boss missing. He looked like the walking dead, and all of them wondered why.
Landon headed back into the office where he knew he could find the person he was looking for. He grabbed the handle and opened the door. The man sitting behind the desk looked up at him in shock before relaxing and getting up out the chair and moving towards his friend. He noticed the lack of life his friend was walking around without and went to sit by him has he put his head in his hands. He watched the shudder in his friends’ shoulders as he cried. He waited growing antsy as time passed. Finally Landon looked up and over at his friend with his red puffy tear privileged eyes and uttered the greatest fear of his life.
“She’s gone.” He watched as Landon’s voice grew tight and hardened, before he stood up and moved over to the window. “That bastard took her.”
That’s all Micah needed to hear before he went into full attack mode. He called a meeting in the front room and everything began to set in motion. The objective now was to find Niamha and kill anyone that stood in their way of finding her.
Landon sat across from Tate in his living room and stared the man in his eyes. Tate didn’t understand what was going on or why Landon was looking at him with such soulless conviction in his eyes. Landon opened his mouth to speak but quickly shut it. He didn’t know how to tell the person he loves brother that he failed at keeping her safe, and that wound up getting her kidnapped. He squared his shoulders and pushed back the tears that were threatening to fall. He looked back over at Tate.
“Niamha is missing. And I need your help in getting her back.”
