When i woke up, the Tardis had presented me with a bottle of pills and a glass of water. After taking them my hangover disappeared and i was left to process what had happened with the Doctor in the Medical room. Of course like a school girl i grew a cheesy smile and squished my pillow to my chest, laughing a little.
"Good morning," i heard an amused voice from the door and shrieked as i fell off the bed in shock.
Peering over the bed, i glared at the Doctor who just chuckled and left, so i chased after him. He was in the kitchen, with two cups of tea in front of him and a plate of breakfast for me. I smiled a bit, sitting down to enjoy it and watched him from the corner of my eye as he watched me.
"I didn't mean to take advantage of you," he told me suddenly, making me choke on some bacon. "I mean, um well, see i felt . . . funny, and i felt i just had to do it. I've never felt like that," he said, sounding confused. "Don't think I've ever wanted to drop a human in a black hole like i did with that guy last night. It was a strange feeling, i didn't like it."
I laughed a little, knowing what he was talking about. But his innocence was too adorable so i didn't dare put him out of his misery. He didn't continue to talk about it though, he turned the conversation to his and Rose's Elvis trip. I frowned, wanting to know where we stood but as Rose joined us, i realised why the topic changed so abruptly.
So telling those two to go have fun would never be something i would do again, because Rose had her face stolen and the Doctor nearly fell from a radio pylon trying to save millions. But at least they had fun. The Doctor let me choose where to go next, so i told him to let the Tardis pick. He said that was boring and wandered to the console room to choose a location.
I left him to it so i could get a shower and get dressed. Rose was still in the kitchen having breakfast and shot a glare at me as i wandered out. Things really weren't going to improve between us, i knew that, especially after what happened last night. Didn't mean i had to be horrible to her though.
We ended up in 1974, where an alien insect was kidnapping children and replacing their blood cells with its own. I didn't like how the Doctor managed to defeat the bug, i hated the idea of using the boy as bait, but it happened anyway. Our next stop was Phostris, a rocky desolate planet where the Doctor said the first humans who travelled through Hyperspace could be found. Oh we found them alright, in slavery to some genius cat who turned out to be a stray that Rose used to feed as a child.
In Vanezia, we ended up having to work with Fredrick Gobbo to investigate an opera house that shouldn't have been there. The owner was draining people's energy to power a machine called the Orchestra, which transmitted mathematic equations into space. It was this machine that turned Fredrick into the musical talent he was destined to become – so some genius weren't really genius after all.
We returned to Earth, and i left the Doctor and Rose to handle whatever adventure they could find in Wales, taking comfort tin my bed and the books the Tardis provided me with. And then again in 22 century Africa, i didn't like the hot weather, so i relaxed in the Tardis pool room and let them deal with the alien threat. Man i was becoming lazy, but give me a break it was my time of the month. I always got lazy around then – you know, whenever got it. It was pretty irregular.
In Laylora, a tropical planet the Doctor, Rose and i put a stop to the 'Witiku', who were trying to drive the native race from the planet. And then we risked a visit to Sunset Strip, a lawless planet populated by bounty hunters, gangsters and mobs. Obviously, putting the Doctor and all those sorts of people in one place was a terrible idea.
Rose and i spent the entire time yelling at the Doctor for getting us into such a mess. He owed them a lot of money but we still managed to avoid the bounty on his head and stop anyone from finding some Glitterbird egg from a rare robot species that was studded with diamonds.
