I straightened the crease on my clothes and was just about to descend the stairs when I heard Asher and A3's conversation.

"Do you like Papa?" It was Asher's hopeful voice.

"I only like handsome things," my daughter answered playfully.

I quietly walked down the stairs while eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Then you do like Papa," Asher said confidently.

I took a peek at the sala and watched as my daughter innocently blinked her eyes while looking at Asher. "Bakit po? Are you handsome po ba?" she asked, still wearing her innocent facade.

Asher gasped and exaggeratedly clutched his chest. "I'm so hurt."

I bit down a grin.

A3 sympathetically patted his shoulder to console him. "It's ok, Papa. Mommy told me before na hindi lahat gini-give ni God. Don't be sad na," she said while her small feet swung back and forth on the gap under the sofa.

I can't help but laugh at how sharp-tongued my daughter is.

"It's a good thing you look like me," I joined their conversation.

A3 immediately jumped from her seat and hurriedly ran towards me. "Mommy! Why were you so tagal?" agad na tanong niya saka yumakap sa hita ko.

Asher also approached me and took the bag that was hanging on my shoulder.

"Then do you like Mommy?" hindi pa rin sumusukong tanong ni Asher.

I took a peek at A3's reaction. She was just wearing her cute little smirk. "I love Mommy," she answered immediately.

"Then how about me?" paawang tanong ni Asher, mukhang walang balak tumigil hanggat hindi niya nakukuha ang sagot na gusto niya.

A3 just smiled. "Hehe~"

My shoulder shook because of the laugh that I was containing making Asher eye me with contempt. "What?" I asked defensively.

"You only love me when you want something from me. I'm so hurt that I'm gonna need a lot of kisses to heal my broken heart," he said dramatically while throwing us his side glance.

I immediately averted his gaze. "We should go, A3. The fishes must be waiting for us," pag-iiba ko ng usapan saka natatawang binuhat ang anak ko para takasan si Asher.

A3 giggled as she wrapped her arms around my neck while watching her sulking Papa follow us from behind.

A smile of contentment formed on my lips as I watched my A3 do her princess twirl while acting all charismatic in front of her grandparents. She sure knows how to utilize the fact that she's the only granddaughter of the Lucados.

Mama has her camera ready to capture her mini fashion show while Papa acted as the host and the audience who's cheering on the side.

"Yes, turn that way! Gorgeous!"
