Helen flew up to New York today to spend a moment with Rachel. Super early flight. Well. It was supposed to be.
We were driving along and getting close to the airport. Helen was not totally happy about leaving. For once it was not her fear of flying. "I do not want to go. Is that wrong of me? I like what we have here so much now. No Siren BS going on. No purists chasing you down. Ninovan settling down and a plan to fix what is wrong. Denise in the center of that, so you know that is going to work. Vera taking up part of the Liaison load from you. I want to stay here and enjoy this! With you."
I had to smile. "You and I are going to be spending a lot of time in the sack with Simi and Tobey. You should probably get your Rachel in now. Once that kicks off, my intuition is that is will be pretty bed consuming."
"I want YOU now. Knowing we are going to do that makes me wish to begin immediately." Helen said. "I also loved what we did at the HOA meeting. You and Morgan do that kind of thing all the time. Play the parts. Do the games. You and I never do."
"That was nice." I agreed. "I wonder who got Ricky?"
"If they were smart, they'd both share him. At the same time. More than enough Ricky to go around if I am any judge, and I am. Plus they'd get some of each other, and they do deserve each other. But who knows? I wouldn't touch either of them. Ricky? Maybe. He seems trainable. We bought three more properties overnight out of that charade. Not the De Santos place. Not yet. Too bad. Nice pool there. Love that waterfall." Helen said. She gave me very serious eyes. "We should build a pool. Like the one at Claremont. Covered. Screened. Something we can control the girls having access to."
"Post a sign: No clothes allowed." I added.
"Exactly." Helen said. "I'll get going on that. I want my spouses all naked in my new pool and in my arms."
When Helen and I are hitting on all cylinders with each other, it is sweet. Not only the physical part, but the not fighting part.
"How much time do you have?" I asked as we pulled up to 'Departures'.
"Fuck it. Me. I can take a later flight." Helen said. She may own that airline. Not sure.
Rather than getting out of the 124, she got out her phone. "Hi. Yes. I need a room, please? Right now. My plane is delayed, so my husband and I will be there in five. We are just over at the Departures drop off. Black Card." Helen read them off the number from memory.
As she talked to the helpful person on the phone, Helen had waved me over toward the Hotel at the airport. I think she has whatever the highest level membership is everywhere.
It was sweet. One-on-one sweet. Since we suddenly had time because of Helen's impulse, I wanted to not hurry. Helen was simpatico. We were in no hurry. Not being in a hurry is always my favorite. The dark red mental and physical need I understand. I prefer and warmth of a longer loving encounter. The only bad part is that when Helen gets to NYC, Rachel will pick up my scent. Vampires cannot hide who they have been canoodling with. Rachel understands. Helen is my wife, after all, and we are going to do things like that. Rachel can't have Helen all to herself, as much as she would like that.
When we lay in bed afterward, basking, Helen had asked me: "What time are you meeting Wyatt and Ginger for lunch?"
"12:30. Food side of the Firehouse. Trying out some of Vera's food quality upgrades. She was serious about making the rest of the food match the burgers."
"She eats at our house. Vera is spoiled. Her fiancé may eat like a bird, but Vera is a 'life in big bites' kind of woman. Hedonist." Helen said. She stretched like a cat. "Not that I have any room to talk after that loving."
