Planning Next Steps

Denise, as the Lead of the NorthAm Crew, takes lots of meetings with Council and other Crew, and she does that from our house theses days.

Since Denise is also my self assigned personal Crew bodyguard, she goes into the 'Olsen and Sagan' office when I go in. We have good infrastructure there for work. Morgan and I write code at the office in addition to the PI work Angel, Morgan, and I do.

On our floor of the office building, the last occupant moved out other than us. It's not us being noisy, running naked up and down the halls, or anything. It is them needing a bigger space, and we aren't moving so they can't have our space.

I'd like to put our office out on our property, up by the road, but we are way out in the country so this office works better for now for walk-in business. I am not sure we need walk-ins. Between Vampire/Crew/Council investigations that they outsource to us and my brother Don; we stay pretty busy

Denise took an option on the suite adjacent to ours and is talking to the landlord about connecting the suites. If we aren't moving out, Crew is moving in. She wants an office next to Morgan, Angel's, and mine. I told her to be sure to add a shower and a break room to share between the offices.

"Why do we need a shower?" Denise asked. Silly Vampire.

"You do not need it. We do." Angel said. "Sometimes for lunch break we engage in carnal activities."

"The three of you..." Denise did not believe that.

"I am Adrian's lover. Morgan is his wife. We take turns. Also, my fiancé drops in from time to time." Angel explained.

"I see." Denise said.

"Morgan reliably assures me that I cannot make up for lost time I spent not loving anyone. I do not see the harm in trying." Angel further elucidated.

"No harm at all. Got it, Angel. Two-person shower." Denise said.

"Bigger. You aren't going to stay stupid forever." Angel insulted her.

"OK. Four?" Denise asked, not rising to the insult.

"We can squeeze in five in a pinch that way, should Jessica drop in. Or Helen." Angel agreed equitably.

Helen found out about that plan when Denise was telling her about negotiating for premise improvements that include a very large shower. Helen starting talking to the people that own the building about buying the entire thing. Seems Helen likes the idea of an office shower.

Until all that happens, Denise has the conference room for Crew stuff, while Morgan and I have her office, and Angel has the big main room. Angel, Morgan, and I can switch around as needed depending on what we are doing.

Denise is all spread out on the conference room table. Copious notes from Jessica and Mom.

At lunchtime, we four sat in the conference room, eating burgers we had locally delivered.

"I am trying to decide what to do with this lab." Denise said. "We understand what it did. We understand what they found out about us. Now what? Do I take it apart?"

"Not yet." I said. "I was talking to Jessica about this last night in bed. She said based upon all the information she and Mom have now, they can create a serum for turning humans into Vampires. Easy peasy. Like a Vaccine. Not the overdone thing we did with Marvin."

"The idea being that if Danny or Lori or DeWayne want to come over, we can give them a shot." Morgan added.

"Even better: based upon the differences they found in lines versus what the Siren's had, they can create a serum from me or Morgan that increases the chances that some of our special gifts are moved genetically forward into new Vampire lines." I added.
