Dalawang linggo na akong babad sa computer ko. Hindi padin ako nagkakaroon ng lead sa Nemesis na yon. He's playing with me. Pinaglalaruan nya lang ako at pinapagod. I hate it. Parang nasasayang lahat ng oras ko sa paghahanap sa isang bagay o taong walang kasiguraduhan ang existence.
"Alaric, chill! ang laki laki na ng eyebags mo oh"
"I can't relax hangga't nasa labas padin ang Nemesis na yon at nagagawa ang gusto nya"
"Ilang linggo ka nang babad sa computer mo. Can you at least take care of your eyes? Gusto mo bang lumabo yang mata mo? Or worse mabulag?!"
"Shut up Memphis. Kung sesermonan mo lang ako, wag ngayon dahil busy ako"
"Tsk. Busy ka naman lagi eh. Cut the chase Alaric. Accept the fact that Nemesis don't exist at may kung sino lang na nagpaprank sayo"
"Prank? You think prank ang isang murder?"
"Basta tigilan mo na yan! Napapabayaan mo na yang kalusugan mo. Kung di ka pinapaalalahanan, hindi ka makakakain. Nag-aalala kami ni Atlas sayo. Isipin mo naman yung feelings namin please?"
"Okay okay. Tumigil ka lang sa pagdadrama"
"Hay nako. You never take me seriously. Mauna na ako. May kailangan pa akong gawin. Kumain ka ha"
"Opo nay", sarkastikong usal ko. Umalis sya at naiwan naman akong babad parin sa computer ko.
I've been keeping myself busy sa paghahanap ng lead tungkol kay Nemesis. The guy who proclaimed the murder of Hilda. The late ssg president. Namatay si Hilda a week before the school year starts. Kaunti lang ang nakakaalam nung pagkamatay nya dahil ayaw naman ng school na magpanic ang mga estudyante sa nangyaring murder.
She was killed in her home. Ang sabi ng pulis suicide daw ang nangyari but base on our investigation, sinadya iyong pagmukhaing suicide. This is not the first time we handled murder cases. Since grade 9 ay magkakasama na talaga kaming tatlo sa pagsosolve ng mga cases sa loob ng school, ang dating mga nawawalang gamit lang ay naging mga nawawalang bangkay. The crimes went worse and worse, parang hindi na makatao. The day Hilda died, we found a letter on her bed saying a man named Nemesis killed her. Later that day, I received a text from an unknown number.
It was Nemesis that Hilda talks about on her letter. He was creepy and mysterious. He kept messaging and messaging me but I can't text back. Maybe his number is exclusive—I don't know. He proclaimed Hilda's deah and even said he was not guilty of killing her.
He's ruthless and indeed evil.
The next murder happened 2 weeks ago. Gaya nung una ay hindi ipinaalam ng school ang nangyaring pagpatay sa isang grade 10 math teacher. It was also Nemesis' fault. He's really getting into my nerves kaya mas lalo akong nasasabik na makita sya at makumpronta. I know he's evil but a devil needs to face a devil too. Since then, itinuring ko na syang kaaway. We don't know his real motive but all we know is he's a threat to our school. The principal, Mr. Montes, personally asked us to investigate this Nemesis for the sake of school's peace.

"The principal's dead. Does that sound important to you?", he sarcastically said.
"What?", gulat na tanong ko.
"We are suspecting Ms. De Guzman, Ms. Chadron and Ms. Cruz. Diba teacher nyo din si Ms. Chadron? Pumasok ba sya sa nung 9:30?"
"No. Hindi sya pumasok buong period kaya tumambay nalang ako dito sa cafeteria. Do you want me there?"
