Drake's POV
We are on our way to the auditorium to meet with the student organizers. "Hey, do you think she will at least pass? As far as I know, she never cooked anything in her life when she was with us; moreover, she picked cranberry blueberry pie " she asked. I laughed, "I don't know but I am so excited if she will be able to overcome this challenge". She shook her head, "Are you aware that among the three of us, you are the only one who knows how to cook since we were young? Dinadalhan mo pa nga kami ng sweets although it was pretty obvious that you favor her more than anyone." she stated and glared at me.
I didn't answer because what she said is true. I know that she will at least prepare something, right? "Look who's talking, kahit naman ikaw eh. You favor her more than anyone," sagot ko at napatawa. She nodded without hesitation, "You are right," tugon niya at binuksan ang pinto sa backstage. We were greeted by the Class-A students. Based on my observation, they all have their own personalities. I wasn't able to deeply talk to anyone yet since kakadating ko lang naman but I am certain that someone doesn't like me. When we entered the auditorium, pumunta kaagad si Casey sa table kasama ibang Class-A students. I was about to follow when I saw Eric and Matthew talking to Mrs. Lyria and it seems like she is enthusiastic about the challenge for the competition.
Napansin ako ni Mrs. Lyria and she smiled at me, "Mr. Drake, good day! I am so glad you are here with us today for the next challenge," saad niya. Ngumiti ako pabalik at lumapit na rin sa kanila. Tumingin sa akin parehas si Matthew and Eric. Both of them looked at me like I am someone they want to interrogate. (^_^") "Hello Mrs. Lyria, it is a pleasure to be here," sagot ko. "I hope you, Mr. Banks and Mr. Smith are getting along. It would be nice to establish friendship during this opportunity." she suggested with an innocent look.
If only that is possible, at this point, I don't think Eric wants me to be his pal. "Indeed we are, Mr. Eric welcomed me with open arms. Other students were very kind and considerate with me as well," I explained and decided to decrease the distance between me and Eric. I observed him and I got a little scared when he smiled back at me but I can't find out if it is genuine or fake, "Of course Mr. Rocheniere, A6 University is ecstatic that you joined us here today," he said. I can see the confusion on Matthew's face because of Eric's response. "That's great, alright then, I will leave everything to the Class-A students. Thank you very much to everyone once again," she said at may sinabi ba kay Eric at Matthew about the area sa Faculty of Pastries bago lumabas ng auditorium.
I noticed that Eric's expression turned stoic once again and looked at the documents he is holding and Matthew talked to me about the guidelines of the competition as well as asked me a question. "I was just wondering, do you know anyone from the competition Drake, other than us?" tanong niya with a teasing smile and turned to Eric who wasn't bothered by the question. I smirked, "Yeah...". "Oh, anyone we know?" he added and put his hand on my shoulder. I can see that he wants to know if I am familiar with her and observe the reaction of Eric. Lumapit bigla si Joshua, "Matthew, here is the permit for the use of the Faculty of Pastries Kitchen Area. Oh hey man! What's up?" bati niya sa akin.
Kinuha ito ni Matthew at binasa, "Turns out, Drake knows someone from our school," he explained while reading. "Oh really? I bet it must be a childhood friend, girlfriend, or an ex girlfriend?" asar niya and poked me on my side. We suddenly heard a voice, "Joshua," Eric coldly called. Pumunta si Joshua sa tabi ni Eric, "Yeah?" he asked. "The program is about to start, there are still couple of documents to process. I am going to assign these to you," Eric said and handed the papers to Joshua. "W-wait what? I am not good with these. I thought you want to ensure that these will be delivered properly. I -I but uh," sagot ni Joshua and had a sad face ಥ_ಥ.
