I was passed out on the couch with a beer in my hand when my phone started going off.
I sat up looking at the time.
I rolled over grabbing the phone, "Hello?"
"Hey Jordana, its Stephen, is this a bad time?"
I sat up pushing my hair out of my face, "No, I am awake."
I wiped the drool that had formed on the side of my face.
"I was wondering if we could meet."
"Meet, what are you talking about?"
"I just wanna talk; you can come by the gym and see me."
"I just can't leave the kids, I don't know if I can even get off." I glanced over my shoulder when I heard someone walking around behind me.
I got up and walked into the kitchen and found Genevieve standing in the kitchen making coffee. "I will call you when I can."
"Just ask and see what happens."
I looked down at my phone as Genevieve turned around to me.
"You are still here?"
I nodded my head back at her, "I kinda had to stay the night."
"Sure, but I won't pay you for something that wasn't needed."
I bit down on my tongue when Jared walked into the kitchen.
Jared grinned back at Genevieve, "It's finally your day off."
Genevieve glared back at me, "I guess that person you were talking to can see you today."
I glanced up at her as Jared smiled back at me.
"See you later kid."
I looked back at Genevieve as I grabbed my bag and went out the door.
I went down the steps as I called Stephen back.
"That was quick."
"I can see you so just send me the address and I will there in another hour or so."
"It's a gym Jordana, so don't get all dolled up for me."
I looked down at my phone as I got into my car.
Back inside the house, Jared grinned back at Genevieve, "We have all day, what would you like to do?"
Genevieve looked back at him, "What are you talking about?"
"You and me, all day with the boys, you have off today we are gonna been with and do stuff today."
Genevieve looked down at her phone as it went off. "I have people to talk to and things to do Jared, I don't have time."
"You don't have to be with your family?"
"I just can't deal with my life in this world right now."
"Then quiet the job Genevieve."
She glared back at him, "What did you just say to me?"
