Jensen woke up that next morning to a stiff neck and a pain in his back that he couldn’t shake.

Jensen looked back at my body as nothing had changed overnight.

Jensen pushed himself up when he did see something extremely different.

There was a bouquet of peonies at the end of the bed.

Jensen looked around when a nurse walked into the room, “Do you know who brought these in?”

The nurse looked back at him, “A young man came in this morning. He even asked about you.”

“What was his name?” Jensen asked her.

The nurse glanced back at the door, “Listen kid, I wouldn’t push anything about her.”

                “Why would you say that?”

“I'm saying that because you don’t know what pressure we are right now to save her.”

                Jensen looked at her confused.

The nurse went over to my body then looked at the pumps. She glanced back at Jensen, “I wouldn’t push too much about this.”

Jensen glanced back at her confused as she left the room.

Across town, Jared glanced back at the bare back of Genevieve. He got up walking across the room nude as he grabbed a pair of sweats and slipped them on.

He glanced down at the bottom drawer of his dresser as he saw her clothes.

Jared glanced back at Genevieve as he pushed the drawer closed then went out of the room and went down the hallway to the boys’ rooms.

                Jared looked in at Thomas.

He was lying on his stomach with his little hand hanging over the side.

Jared cracked a smile as he went over to Shep and saw the little guy in his crib looking the other way.

Jared went down the hallway and saw the spot that I went off.

Jared bent down as he looked around but saw nothing.

He looked over his shoulder at the door at the end of the hallway.

He went down the steps and went out the front door to grab the paper when he stopped when he saw Klaus standing at the gate.

Klaus looked around, “Nice neighborhood you live in.”

“Thank you,” Jared said back to him.

Klaus nodded his head, “My daughter is not getting better and I wanna know the man that is in her room.”

                “You mean Jensen.”

Klaus looked back at Jared, “I can't see my daughter with that man. She isn't that kind of girl again.”

“What do you mean that kind of girl?”
