26. Blink Twice and Then You're Gone

    I looked out over the back yard when Aurelia walked over to me, “You wanna talk.”

                “Fuck you Aurelia.”

                Aurelia nodded her head back at me, “Fair enough.”

                I glanced back at her, “My father came back here. You wanna explain that bullshit to me.”

                Aurelia went to say something when Jensen walked out to me.

                Jensen looked at me, “Where have you been?”

                “I don’t have time to fight with you right now and honestly why are you here?”

                Jensen narrowed his eyes back at me, “You called me last night, and I was supposed to come over here. And don’t get fucking mad at me for something that you wanted!”

                I glared back at him, “Listen I have something else to worry about. You aren't that high up on my list right now.”

                Aurelia looked at me when Alaska stepped out on to the back deck.

                I rolled my eyes as Alaska looked back at me. “What are you doing here?”

                Alaska smiled back at me, “Charlotte knows who you are.”

                I glanced back at her.

                “She figured it out when this came into her office.” Alaska tossed the article over to me.

                I shook my head back at her, “Doesn’t mean a flipping thing.”

                “Youngest daughter of the royal family, Silverwood, is caught having a sexual relationship with another royal family that the two are rivalries in the business world.” Alaska looked at me. “That sure does mean a lot.”

                “Royal families?” Jensen looked back at me.

                Aurelia laughed, “OH the press, don’t you just love them.”

                “We were like royalty.” I said back to him.

                Aurelia shook her head, “Our families have always been famous in the areas and we have a lot of businesses up there. It’s like our families were just highly ranked.”

                Alaska smiled back at me, “Well Charlotte is coming for you.”

                “She won't win.” I said back to her.

                “I understand that and so does everyone around you. But Charlotte isn't that smart. She only sees the money.”

                Jensen looked back at me. “So what are you?”

                “I'm a trust fund brat from the east coast.” I said back to him.

                Aurelia almost fall off the back porch when someone walked out onto the porch.

                I glanced back when it was Genevieve.

                “Danneel called me last night. She told me that you are out for us?”
