12. And Our Love Will Count For Everything

Vancouver, Canada 

                Jared glanced up as I walked into the room with a cup of coffee for him.

                “You didn’t have to stay the night.” I said as I sat down next to him on the bed.

                “You needed someone here with you last night. I couldn’t leave you.”

                I grinned back at him, “You have a flight today.”

                Jared nodded his head back at me.

                “I will head over to the house and help Genevieve with the boys over the weekend.” I got up and went over to my dresser pulling out some clothes for the weekend.

                “Did you know that Genevieve was cheating on me?”

                I stopped pushing clothes around when the words hit me.

                “Did you know that she was with someone else?”

                I glanced back at him.

                Jared nodded his head, “You did know, how long have you known about her?”

                “Jared, I didn’t know for sure.”

                “But you knew something was up.”

                I nodded my head back at him.

                He stood up putting the cup on the nightstand, “But why didn’t you say something to me?”

                “I couldn’t tell you something that I barely knew anything about. Jared it wasn’t my place.”

                “You are there to protect my boys, so protect them with everything Jordana.”

                I nodded my head when Jared kissed me on the forehead.

                “Whatever you do just protect my boys this weekend.” Jared walked around me as he released my hand from his.

                I glanced back at where he once was.

               

Austin, Texas

                Jensen glared back at Boone as Boone was standing across from him as Stephen was in the middle of them.

                Boone grabbed the pool stick and poked Stephen with it.

                Stephen jumped up hitting his head on the pool light hanging over it.

                Boone shook his head, “How fucked did you get last night?”

                Jensen heard a noise and looked back as 2 girls slipped out of the house, “My god man, you are married!”

                Stephen smiled back at Jensen, “Not this weekend.”

                Boone rolled his eyes as Jensen walked away from them. Boone walked around the pool table and went after Jensen, “You have been quiet since we got here.”

                Jensen glanced back at him, “I don’t have much to say.”

                Boone narrowed his eyes back at Jensen.
