I pulled the jacket up around my ears as I went down the street that morning.

I slipped into the gym as I saw Boone in the ring working with another guy.

I glanced back at the girl at the desk as I walked right into the gym.

Boone glanced up at me, “What are you doing here?”

I pulled my shades from my face, “You gonna start something now?”

Boone shook his head, “I don’t wanna deal with you.”

“Oh shut up Boone, you don’t wanna walk away now.” I grinned back at him.

“Fuck you Jordana.” Boone snorted back at me.

I laughed back at him, “You already have Boone.”

Boone glared down at me, “She is back. I don’t want that back in my life.”

                “You have no choice.”

“I do have a choice. I don’t wanna go back there.”

I grabbed the rope and pulled myself up to him, “You have no choice because tonight someone is coming to Vancouver that will only end in death if they find us.”

“The fuck is you talking about?”

“Natalie, Aurelia, and I are now in the middle of Charlotte’s death investigation. The detective that is here is bringing in someone that has dealt with us before.”

“What do you want me to do about that?” Boone looked back at me confused.

I smiled back at him, “You already know who he is Boone.”

                Boone glared back at me.

“Your brother is coming to town.”

Boone shook his head as he walked to the other side of the ring, “Get the fuck away from the Jordana.”

“Oh shit, you haven’t seen him in a few years have you?”

“Fuck you Jordana!” Boone shouted back at me.

I laughed as I jumped down from the ring, “I can't wait for this family reunion!”

Boone grabbed a water bottle and tossed it at me as I walked out of the room.

I waved back at him as the bottle hit the wall behind me.

Jared walked into the house that was once full of tiny feet and laughter.

Jared grabbed the little bear that was left behind.

He looked around the room that once belonged to Shep.

“Jared, are you ok?” Aurelia asked him back.

“I brought my son home to this house. I put him in that bed when he was just born. I look at this house and I see nothing but memories of my children. I see nothing but good. But when I see my wife, I see nothing but distrust and lies.”
