Ritsuka, Azuna and I headed into the ballroom, where we were handed orange drinks.

"I'm lost. What is this king and queen stuff their talking about?" Ritsuka ask.

"Yeah, I'm curious too."

"Oh, right, I forgot to tell you. In one of the women's glasses, there's a crown, and the same goes for one of the men's." Azuna explains.

The three of us look around at the disappointed girls. "If your glass has the crown, you become the queen, the star of the entire evening. You even share a romantic dance infront of everyone."

"What if they don't know each other?" Ritsuka asks.

"Tough. It's a really old festival tradition." I look at my glass and start drinking it. "Chill Y/n, there's no way you'll get it your first year."

When I finish the drink, at the bottom of my glass is a crown. "This can't be possible, the odds are very slim! Someone's playing a trick on me, right?!" I ask Azuna, panicking. I didn't want to be center stage.

I look around and my gaze stop on the three student council members that were here already, Urie, Mage and Shiki, who were all in which drinking their grape drinks, just to find them empty. I let out a sigh. At least I won't be having to share a dance with any of them. Speaking of which, Azuna seemed relieved that I wouldn't be dancing with any of them, too.

"Rem's here!" I heard a girl shout. I look at the entrance and see Rem infact was here, grabbing his drink. When he finishes it, I let out yet another sigh of relief.

When I look back at Rem, someone behind him catches my eye, and I see Lindo has entered the ballroom. He grabs his drink and drinks it like Rem had done, his eyes widening when he sees the crown in his now empty drink.

I blush and go over to him. Before I could say anything however, I am interrupted by the other students, who surround us, and take us to the thrones.

I let out a nervous giggle. "How weird, the two of us getting the crowns and all." I say, rubbing the back of my head.

"But you must admit, it's better than having to dance with one of those devils."

I nod in response. "It is."

That's when the music starts and Lindo offers me his hand. I hesitantly take it, and when I do, he walks me out onto the dance floor. "Lindo, I should tell you that I don't know how to dance..."

"Don't worry, it'll be fine. All you need to do is follow me lead." Lindo says, giving me a warm smile.

We start dancing, Lindo leading and me following his lead. I tripped over myself a few times, but they were small trip ups.

"Don't worry Y/n, focus on me and you'll be fine."

I give Lindo a smile. "Thank you."

"It's nothing, just trying to make sure you don't hurt yourself."

"No, that's not it. I meant for not giving up on me, even when I was working against you and Ritsuka. It means the world to me that you didn't give up and that I'm here with you right now."

The music stops, and we follow it, stopping shortly after. Fireworks can be heard in the background.

"Lindo, you're actually a good dancer, as well as a good teacher." I complement him.

"You weren't as bad as you thought, right?"

"Yeah, but I owe you for that." I blush, rubbing the back of my head. Lindo, what did you do to me? Why do I feel this way?
