Y/n POV

After the dance, Ritsuka, Azuna, Lindo and I all started walking home. We stopped at a railroad crossing when I looked down at the crown/palm, thinking about the events of tonight. It isn't until the Train has passed when I feel the presence of many vampires. The four of us are surrounded by more vampires than we can count.

"Azuna, get them home." Lindo says.

"On it." Azuna says, grabbing Ritsuka and me, taking us to a corner, chanting an incantation to protect us.

Wait?! What do I look like? A helpless mortal who can't protect themself?! Sorry, but I don't think so.

I run towards the fight, helping to fight the vampires off when I hear a familiar scream. I turn to where Ritsuka and Azuna are to see Ritsuka was being held captive. Suddenly, I feel a pain in my back.

Damnit! This is like the third time this has happened to me in the last month!

"They go with us." The lead vampire, who is the one holding Ritsuka captive, says.

I watch as Azuna charges at the vamp, attempting to cut him with her knife. The vamp had dodged, giving Azuna a moment to check on Ritsuka. At this point I had taken the knife out of my back, and was hurrying to Ritsuka and Azuna.

When I was only a foot away, the vamp had stabbed Azuna, all the way through, with his hand. My eyes widen at the sight as I process what was going on. They start to water and I scream of agony out, as does Ritsuka, and a bright, powerful light comes out from the both of us. The light was enough to turn the vampires (minus Lindo and the vampire in charge of the attack of course) to dust.

I hurry to Azuna and Ritsuka, not carrying about my injury anymore, and sit next to Ritsuka who was holding the dying Azuna. "Azuna! Stay with us! We'll get you help. You just need to stay with us." I tell her as Ritsuka is in tears, crying for her- no, our friend.

But no matter how hard we tried, she closed her eyes, a sign of her having already passing away.
